‘Tis the season to be silly ( or almost time) so once again am inviting one and all to the grand Christmas Ball at Lemongrove Manor
These shindigs need starting early as there is so much to do!
Lord Lemongrove has been busy testing mince pies and pigs in blankets ever since Cook took them out of the oven this morn. What a man!

There will be rooms for those who wish to stay the night, and
Carriages at dawn for those who don’t.

As usual it helps if your offerings are in alphabetical order, but the more sherry we consume....tchblush
Stay and chat awhile if you want to and if pushed for time just state what you will bring ( then I can tick it off my to do lists.)

Here is the address for forgetful heads and newcomers...
Lemongrove Manor
Much Ado Inthemarsh
Nr. Rumpling in Parva
Cotswolds

Follow him up on the entertainment stakes with Bertie Balls, juggler, from Bognor?

lemongrove Sat 04-Dec-21 19:25:13

Couldn’t get Bertie this year, he is booked solid in Blackpool.
Crystal Ball was available though so I booked her for after dinner ‘readings’.

Dominoes in the games room, it can get quite dramatic and demanding at times, do give it a go ( a tenner a time.)

Beauty salon where we can go and repair any damage. (No lipstick all over your face from snogging the footmen)

Eggs for breakfast. How would you like them?

Calistemon Sat 04-Dec-21 22:21:18

Frittata, please!

Urmstongran Sat 04-Dec-21 22:42:36

Glamorous glad rags for partying! I’ve been trying on outfits and decided this is my fav. Himself has just taken a photo of me so I can show you how I shall rock up for the Ball.

What do you think? Right choice? ?

Calistemon Sat 04-Dec-21 22:50:47

How could you Urmstongran, I was going to wear the same. Now I'll have to get my old frock back which I lent to a young friend. It does suit me better, though.

ixion Sat 04-Dec-21 22:55:46

I'm sure I've seen that outfit of yours previously, urms?

Horse and carriage for my arrival. Are stables available?

lemongrove Sun 05-Dec-21 12:48:52

Kellogg's Cornflakes for brekkie the day after the Ball, I am unreliably informed they cure a hangover.

Lovers tiffs, bound to be a few....

Marshmallows to make s’mores

LauraNorderr Sun 05-Dec-21 12:57:23

Not sure why the apostrophe is there but my phone suggested it. I’ll assume it knows more than I do on this occasion.

LauraNorderr Sun 05-Dec-21 12:58:59

Opera glasses to keep an eye on Kitty and Rufus. Don’t want any bother from Mr Kittylester

Mollygo Sun 05-Dec-21 13:42:46

Pomegranates! Evidently they’re a super food so a serving as a garnish would be beneficial.

lemongrove Sun 05-Dec-21 15:39:51

Quad bikes, we can ride them all round the estate, have several large brandies first though for courage.

lemongrove Sun 05-Dec-21 15:41:30

Ruffs...I fancy Elizabethan attire, and Roughs ( there are always a few locals who gatecrash) we will keep the cute ones.

UV lights, so your white clothes will glow in the dark. (Just make sure you don’t have dandruff!)

Very outrageous costumes will be appreciated.

lemongrove Mon 06-Dec-21 14:35:20

Walnuts....now where are my nutcrackers?

X marks the spot for the grand treasure hunt in our amazing grounds, ask yourself this...do you feel lucky?
