Harry’s ‘pop’ at Charles

Harry has apparently had another pop at his dad this time regarding the payment for honours debacle. Harry seems to keep on attacking Charles and I wondered if there might be a particular reason for this. In all of the multitudinous reports on their estrangement I haven’t seen anyone wondering if H is doing this because he believes/knows Charles is not his dad. I am not suggesting that is true but it may be his ‘truth’ as others have put it. Perhaps it would go some way to explain his seeming lack of belonging. Just musing on a grey day, please feel free to wade in or not as the case maybe.

May I venture to suggest that if H and M did ‘shut up “ and if any royals stopped giving interviews etc posters would be bored and have nothing to moan about ?

And you will no longer have a handy thread to pounce on.

Hardly pouncing Merlot.

Diana was said to cover her red hair with blonde dye. However I think Harry looks like Prince Phillip sometimes. Harry may wish he was ordinary as others have done. Fact is they woukdnt find it as appealing if living on universal credit. I was in my 50s before I had a foreign holiday. Worrying about how to afford presents with one wages isn't great either. So he is very lucky the public are interested and pay their taxes. I love the Queen and the Queen Mother but others need to stop the whinging and knuckle down.

Here's a style of RF I could live with.

George V1 was the spare. And Margaret carried out her royal duties, didn’t give interviews to the press.

That poor woman had a sad life and never appeared to be happy. If that's what we expect from the spare we should be ashamed of ourselves.

I think the price of eggs in Tesco’s is always a good one to get folk riled up.

You can suggest it Lucca....but it wouldn’t be true as there are plenty of other things to moan about.
Boris Johnson ( the absolute fave one for posters to moan about)
Brexit...ditto
Covid
The weather ( add your own at this point)tchgrin

I think Charlotte and Louis have much better adjusted parents and they seem to live a pretty ordinary family lifestyle, so far as anyone in that position could. Charles had little experience of family life and parental love when growing up and Diana had her own problems, much as she loved her children.

Harry’s first problem was that he was the spare. He married his second problem.

I like that, Germanshephersmum. Nicely put and tells the story in a nutshell.

Very true, and after the experiences with Margaret, Andrew and Harry as spares I do hope that someone is considering the futures of Charlotte and Louis before it's too late again.

There's a photo of the D of E as a young man I remember seeing when he died and H is the spitting image of him.

IMO H's a nasty piece of work who should leave his family alone, just as they do him.

When Harry had a beard he was the image of a young Philip taken when he too had a beard. Unfortunately the resemblance doesn't run to loyalty.
I have a horrible feeling about all of this will turn out for Harry,

I read an article the other day which said " she was placed on a peddle stool "
No idea what one of those is.

It sits next to Chester Draws ( seen on GN) a few years ago.?

He looks like a young Henry VIII

Absolument!!!!! Oh yes he does! The rare pictures of HV111 as a young stud? He's the absolute spit. He's also showing similar qualities in the "I want it all my own way!" tendencies department too.........

Yes, I agree, I was just thinking that the other day.

Exactly Lucca.

What a horrible post Mummer!

Oooh Calistemon we might be related. My granddaughter and my sister have red hair. How exciting!

I don't know where it comes from maddyone, neither DH nor I are really auburn - mine has a hint and his beard is was red!!
Two recessive genes?
So yes, we could be cousins ?

I think MIL was a redhead but she dyed it as it had gone grey.

Good to see the season goodwill to all men on here……….

I'll shut up now. Just about to sing in a church concert. Great tidings!

In the book I read (yes, the chewed up one), it said Meghan's dog in Canada took a dislike to Harry and wanted to protect her from him. Maybe he could sniff out pent up anger or something?!
