Oh, I always thought posties wore shorts because they preferred wet legs to wet trousers! You live and learn.

You don’t see many bare legged women round here, in fact I’d go as far as to say none in my local town! Perhaps in the city on a night out you’ll see bare legs, though maybe the coating of fake tan has thermal properties.

I have a beautiful card from Harry and Meghan. Archie’s hair is a gorgeous rich auburn colour, hope it doesn’t change too much as he grows older. Lili doesn’t really have enough hair to tell. They look like a very natural, happy family.

No, they haven't made donations on my behalf, I made my own, although I'm glad they made a donation to help Afghan refugees as that would be a cause close to Harry's heart.

What does we're not sure it it's been started with the best of intentions' actually mean ?
What evidence do you have for that?
Slanderous remarks about the Queen are allowed: 'such a parasite' and Boris Johnson, liar, cheat, philander' every day. These are never taken down, and why should they be; they are people's opinions and other posters are free to comment and disagree.
But anything to do with Meghan Markle is instantly removed. When an American Lawyer talks about calling her as a witness in a court case being brought against a member of the family she has married into, and swiftly discarded, because: "She is somebody we can count on to tell the truth."(David Boies) this is a legitimate subject for discussion.

Gransnet appears to be operating an in- house form of censorship, against the principles of free speech.

Some people are more litigious than others so that is probably a reason.

I can't imagine the Queen taking anyone to court for calling her names and yes, some posts on here about HM have been vile.

This family chose an interesting approach this year for their Christmas card.

I think that the C & C card is charming.

Archie's hair is a wonderful colour. I wonder how he'll get on in the California sunshine with that hair and what looks like very pale skin? My son in law grew up in San Francisco and can't cope with any sort of sun, he spends the summer looking like a lobster.
