Good Morning Tuesday 14th December 2021

Mixed bag of posts this morning. Thoughts particularly with Barmyoldbat and Marydoll who have a particularly hard row to hoe just now. We never know what life will throw at us, which is probably just as well.

I have very mixed feelings about Christmas this year and have decided to dispense with the tree - it feels somehow disloyal to DH to just carry on as usual when he won’t be sharing it though will doubtless be lectured by DD.

Off shortly to see DH and hoping he will be in a communicative mood. You just never know.

Oh Lauranorderr that is awful news so close to Christmas. I have followed her chemo journey and knew today was the last. I am sending her caring thoughts. She will get through this.

Laurernorder my daughter was due to have her chemo 2 days before Christmas but negotiated with her oncologist and is now having it on the 30 Dec. Still not great but better than being those first few days over Christmas.

Just heard from my beautiful daughter-in-law ‘Christmas is back on! Chemo a go go’ ?
Her words. Don’t know the details yet but she’s having her last session as I write.
Wanted to come back and tell you all so that I don’t draw attention from those who need it more.

Wasn’t going to post today because I’m so late but feel I must send condolences to Barmeyoldbat after her awful family tragedy and at the same time say to Laura that I’ll be remembering your DiL and Gymstagrans DD over the next couple of weeks. I wish you strength.

marydoll and all others who are struggling, my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
MrOops managed a walk to the post box this morning with the Christmas cards and he can now sit down for a few hours as my hairdresser is due to arrive shortly, it’s his first time out for a week.
It’s a dull day here, but at least no wind or gales.
