The presents are all rather nice, but I'd already got everything last week, wrapped everything, then son no. 1 said his (on/off) girlfriend had got something for my husband and me, so I felt obliged to reciprocate (and for her 2 children as well)

I finished my library book, sprawled on the sofa with a blanket and cat. Dying to know HowVeryDareYou, why did you buy crap pressies to lug home?

We are currently on holiday in the Canary Islands. We fly home on 23rd. Initially, I didn’t want to come. Worried about Christmas shopping, Dinner is all organised and needs to be collected from Butchers. My lovely SD has that in hand.

I've had my 2 1/2 year old grandson here since 11a.m . Also got the decorator in just to do kitchen and utility. Much as I love him (grandson, I mean ?) , I'll be glad to see my d.i.ls car turn into the drive. And then, the decorator will leave and I shall go up to bed with a nice cup of tea, to watch the afternoon programmes

Coffee and a large slice of cake while at soft play with three small boys this morning ☕?
