After traipsing around various shops for 4 hours, queueing at each one, getting stuck in traffic, lugging the bags of -crap- presents up our steep path, it's time for a break, with a Bailey's and 2 double chocolate cookies grin

What are you treating yourself to today?

Coffee and a large slice of cake while at soft play with three small boys this morning ☕?

I've had my 2 1/2 year old grandson here since 11a.m . Also got the decorator in just to do kitchen and utility. Much as I love him (grandson, I mean ?) , I'll be glad to see my d.i.ls car turn into the drive. And then, the decorator will leave and I shall go up to bed with a nice cup of tea, to watch the afternoon programmes

We are currently on holiday in the Canary Islands. We fly home on 23rd. Initially, I didn’t want to come. Worried about Christmas shopping, Dinner is all organised and needs to be collected from Butchers. My lovely SD has that in hand.
@HowVeryDareYou’s post has made me so homesick!
I want to be able to get home exhausted and revive myself with a Baileys and double chocolate cookies (Lidl are the best)
Enjoy your treats, I’m away to go sulk on the sunlounger.???

I finished my library book, sprawled on the sofa with a blanket and cat. Dying to know HowVeryDareYou, why did you buy crap pressies to lug home?

Alima grin. It was meant to be the word "crap" with a line through it. The presents are all rather nice, but I'd already got everything last week, wrapped everything, then son no. 1 said his (on/off) girlfriend had got something for my husband and me, so I felt obliged to reciprocate (and for her 2 children as well)
