I'm so sorry about your friend's demise Ashcombe there are a lot of people having not such a good Christmas.
Oh! Marydoll your Christmas has gone pear-shaped. A bit like my DSister. Her DD1 has cancelled her flight for her family from France because of Omacron! Her DD2's DD (at student in Leicester) has tested positive for Covid and is desperate to be home, so her daughter is probably going to pick her up. Since Her DD2 normally hosts Christmas, that's her celebrations up the spout!!

I am so sorry to hear all this sad news of positive tests and cancellations. I will send you all this picture in the hope it brings on a smile.❤️

Good morning, or should I say afternoon. Grey and cloudy but dry so decided to go for a bike ride and dust off the cobwebs. Mt B also went but on a longer one. We met up in Waitrose in the cafe as it wasn’t crowded, quick drink toasted tea cake and home. Now lying on the bed with a hot water bottle to ease the pains.
Sorry to hear your Christmas plans are on hold Marydoll, just keep safe and their will be plenty of time for a get together next year, hopefully. I just love the stories on here about the naivety plays, they give you such great memories.
My son has been in touch a few times during the week and things have calmed down a bit in his house. There is to be a post mortem on the ex wife so at last we will know exactly what was wrong with her. I will meet up with my son tomorrow to exchange gifts, he only has 2 days at Christmas and one of them he will be sleeping most of the time because he is on nights next week. Any take care sll
