Prince Andrew Can't Sweat

Doing wrong is not black and white even in law.

My own father who of course had never heard of Prince Andrew, could not sweat. My mother , who had never heard of Prince Andrew, told me this when I was was girl . My mother did not explain about the adrenaline thing as she had no medical knowledge, but after Andrew's admission about not sweating . I can understand how hormones are affected by some severe life events. My father was at the Eastern Front during the Great War.

Also in support of Prince Andrew, he probably did not even know that it was illegal or even immoral to shag an unknown and poor seventeen year old girl. Very rich people have odd childhoods, and it takes special efforts by parents and teachers to teach them what real life is.

I believe the Rochdale girls suffered violence and threats of violence. I haven’t heard any such allegations about VG’s treatment. She was a willing and evidently well paid participant.

Anniebach Wed 19-Jan-22 19:46:07

Giuffrie was 17 when allegedly recruited by Maxwell

Caleo Wed 19-Jan-22 20:00:08

Some abused Rochdale girls may have bullied other Rochdale girls. It's the responsibility of adults to protect all children whether or not the kids are bullies.

Virginia G. at age seventeen was a young girl so she would have aroused the protective instincts of any decent man or woman.

Anniebach Wed 19-Jan-22 20:06:21

If all the girls who have spoken of the abuse they suffered with
Epstein were 13 / 14 , why recruit a 17 year old who happened to be reading a book on massage whilst sitting in a hotel where
Maxwell was staying.

In the end, each day, you have to believe that you’re living the best life you can. You have to try to do the best for yourself and for others. You have to feel that your daily interactions are meaningful and worthwhile. You have to try and love yourself, take care of yourself, letting go of irrational angry thoughts, and make the most of the life that you have. “How do I feel about the life I have?” “Could it be better?” “Is what I’m doing today and what I plan to do tomorrow the best way forward, or am I simply wasting time?” “Could I be kinder?”

Witness willing to testify she saw Prince Andrew with a ‘young girl’ at London nightclub

Virginia Giuffre’s lawyers seek her statement to counter the royal’s insistence he has never met their client or visited the club

Giuffre’s lawyers also asked Kaplan to request British assistance in obtaining testimony from Robert Olney, a former equerry, or aide. In court filings, they said Olney has “relevant information about Prince Andrew’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein”.

Olney’s name, the lawyers said, “appears in publicly available copies of Epstein’s phone book”. Giuffre’s lawyers said they want to ask Olney about “any communications with or regarding plaintiff” and about Andrew’s travel to New York City and “to or from any of Jeffrey Epstein’s homes”.

He did not say he had never been to Tramps, he said

‘I don’t think I have ever bought a drink in Tramps whenever I was there .

Giuffre’s lawyers got that wrong didn’t they

So we are back to prositution being a lifestyle choice. Do you believe that some women in relationships are coerced by men GSM? It isn't violent. It is controlling. If it happens in relationships why couldn't it happen to a girl in Giuffres position?
She was by the way 16 when she first met Maxwell. 17 in August the same summer.
It is in any case illegal to use girls for prostitution and illegal to traffic them.

Iam64 Thu 20-Jan-22 09:44:11

Concern about organised child sexual exploitation in Greater Manchester were first raised in the mid 90’s by police, social workers, teachers, health, drug and other support workers. Parents were also raising concerns.
Despite this, girls were accused of lifestyle choices and one was arrested in the home of her abuser.
The comparison is that adults targeted, seduced, groomed and exploited vulnerable youngsters.
I’ll repeat again, trafficking girls women men boys for sex is illegal

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 20-Jan-22 10:19:09

Of course I know that some women are coerced trisher but no evidence has been produced that Epstein or Maxwell coerced VG. And she is the person we are talking about here despite the attempts to divert the thread.

Anniebach Thu 20-Jan-22 11:05:34

This thread has nothing to do with the Rochdale abuse, thread
title refers to Andrew.

Gsm you admit Giuffre was paid for her services. Why then was it not financial control? The manipulation of money and other economic resources is one of the most prominent forms of coercive control, depriving women of the material means needed for independence, resistance and escape
As many of us have pointed out she was also illegally trafficked and used for prostitution. The question is why would you believe the men responsible for those things rather than a woman who has been honest about her role and is seeking justice?

Germanshepherdsmum Thu 20-Jan-22 11:35:47

I had a long career and unsurprisingly I was paid for the work I did. Was I being coerced, financially controlled trisher?

It may not be illegal to have sex at 17 here BUT it certainly is ILLEGAL to traffic people for sex regardless of their age.I wonder where he thought these young Americans were appearing from at his bedroom door ....
Of course his type expect everything on tap so women would be no dfferent even very young women. Please stop defending this excuse for a man.I doubt any of you would be pleased if your husbnds behaved this way or your daughters used this way .

Too right! I think too many people forget she ( as were many others) was groomed and trafficked. It wasn’t a case of them meeting naturally and being attracted to each other. Any man who has sex with someone in that way is indefensible.

As the father of daughters I'm horrified that he didn't think this through (but then perhaps he doesn't think much at all). Would he want this to happen to his precious princesses? They might have every privilege but every girl and woman should be entitled to be treated with respect.

Anniebach Thu 20-Jan-22 13:25:46

The girls who have spoken out have all said they were 13/14 when involved with Epstein.

Giuffrie’s father found her a job in Trump’s hotel , Maxwell stayed at that hotel. Giuffrie age 17 just happened to be reading a book on massage when Maxwell spoke to her.

Caroline , a witness at Maxwell’s trial said she stopped involvement with Epstein but went back age 18, in desperation
poor girl, he turned her down, she wasn’t young enough.

Maxwell had procured girls in England, why fly in a girl from
America.

I do not believe Giuffrie for these reasons and the fact that she
kept a photograph of a man who allegedly raped her, she still
had the photograph when in her 30’s.

Yes she was given money but for what ?

Your posts suggest you lack any understanding of trafficking or organised child sexual exploitation.
I’m relieved you say that this wasn’t an area of work you were involved with when working in law

eazybee Thu 20-Jan-22 13:29:31

I read this as referring to enticing women into prostitution then witholding the money they have been promised so they cannot escape. VG, according to this post, was paid for her services.
And once again, if it was so distasteful to her, why did she perform these services twice more, plus of course, for all the other men she is not at present pursuing?
Because it was her choice.

Anniebach Thu 20-Jan-22 13:40:04

Sorry forgot to add, all the girls have told they were taken to
Epstein’s house, his island, but only Giuffrie has spoken of being flown into London, taken to a nightclub , not just any
nightclub but Tramps .

News just in, Hollywood has shown interest in a film once the
civil law suite has been settled.

I said some time ago, following the trial we can expect a book and a film.

trisher Thu 20-Jan-22 13:58:13

So she's going to make some money Annie why is that so wrong? Do you realise that no-one really knows how Epstein made all his money? It's high;ly likely that some of it was made through providing the services of girls like Giuffre to very rich and powerful men and yet you would begrudge her film and book rights to her own life?

Anniebach Thu 20-Jan-22 14:16:46

As expected

Golly Gsm did you sell sex for a living?

What a singularly nasty thing to say.

VioletSky Thu 20-Jan-22 14:47:35

Giuffre is simply taking what she is owed. Plus emotional damages

None of this would be in any media if some men were able to keep it in their pants and treat women with respect
