Good Morning All x ( while it still is )
A lovely day of sunshine and brightness which makes you want to do the long-awaited jobs around the house-----Not !
I've got as much energy as flying in the air.
After the umpteenth morning fiddling with the TV, I found I couldn't receive many programmes now--BBC1 etc and all the other familiar ones so I have to rely on Sky news now, the Drama channel and Quest. Roll on Wednesday when I can perhaps get someone out, no doubt I'll be £250 or so lighter !
My word I enjoyed my roast beef dinner yesterday, it went down a treat and proved to be very satisfying indeed. The rest I'll have today with creamed pots. this time with a blob of horseradish mixed in. The remaining parsnip and carrots and sprouts and a fresh fruit salad to use up the fruits.
Usual thoughts to those who are feeling sad/ worried, I hope there will be calm to lighten the load. x
Feeling Urms excitement at flying off. By far the best way to enjoy retirement. Safe journey's to those returning to their destinations after the holiday.
Nothing on my agenda for the time being though I must get a calendar and transfer Birthdays or I'll be stumped. Then do the same in my new address book as so many crossings out now in the old one so enough to do to keep me out of mischief.
Well gone coffee time so I'll get one now. Stay safe all of you and enjoy the day if you can.xx
It’s been a while so I will start us off…….whats for supper and why?
The main room in your house...
Thought this might amuse some of you!
