Feels like another sleepless night coming up.
How do you try to get to sleep.

MayBee70 You could be able to get Ashwagandha in Holland & Barrett or a health shop. If not, it can be ordered online too, via Amazon or other websites.

Is that an Ayurvedic remedy? I have a book about Ayurvedic remedies that I dip into from time to time.

My step mother was addicted to sleeping pills 'soneral' I think they were called. She had to increase the dose every few months and used to take 4 or 5 each night to get to sleep. Very dangerous really as she was also an alcoholic.
Swore I would never be like her as a child so would never take anything. I'm also very careful when drinking so only ever drink rarely.
I just follow my natural sleep pattern, ie sleeping when I'm really tired which is often in the early hours. Works for me.

I go to bed about midnight wake between 6 / 7 am. Never get up in night or wake although it sometimes takes me a while to go over. No phone tv or music in bedroom. It's jut me and a book if I'm stuck. This works for me.
