Good Morning Everyone,
Its a dark, and a wet morning here in brackley this morning.
Todays plans are to go via Buckingham to Bicester and return direct .
I will have a breakfast bap in the bakery cafe I use in Bicester plus a coffee ,and then a small shop.
Later I will have my usual Saturday Chinese , mind you I wanted my regular Fish & Chip shop take away yesterday , but it was closed due to a family member having Covid .
Take Care,
Mick

Good morning Mick and everybody. At the moment it’s raining heavily in my corner of Lancashire, currently 8°C. Not much planned for today, there are a few hardy souls out there walking, but I won’t be joining them. The rain makes it slippery underfoot and I daren’t risk falling. The usual physio exercises and some cycling (indoors) later.

So sorry for your loss GrannySomerset, thinking of you flowers

Wishing you all the best possible day. May all those with worries find some comfort and all who are under the weather find some relief. ?

Good morning from a wet and dark South Yorkshire. Sadness here today as well matching the weather. 2 years today since DD's birth mother passed away suddenly... so much emotional baggage attached to this ?
Glad you had such a through consultation yesterday Marydoll even though the news wasn't great at least someone has finally had a good look at you. I hope the steroids work.
Sincere condolences Grannysomerset sending you love and hugs ?
Loving thoughts to all those with sadness today ? xxx

Good morning all from Glasgow where the snow has completely cleared and we are back to wet and dreich. Thankfully really as underfoot slush was freezing making it dangerously slippery.

Lovely to see a pic of the adorable Daft Dug Baubles she is a beauty. Pleased to hear you took my advice, good to know someone actually listens to me.? Just a bit more, don’t push yourself until you feel fully recovered, it really isn’t worth it.
Your journey sounds like a nightmare Marydoll, we also mentioned lack of gritters! Sorry to hear the news you were given wasn’t more positive. Steroid injections are a god send for pain relief. (((((Hugs)))))
Please accept my sincere condolences GrannySomerset. A relief for your DH who is now at rest but heart wrenching for you to come to terms with. Wishing you strength to help you through the days ahead. ?

A FaceTime call with DD2 in Australia to look forward to later. I think she may need some cheering up as this will be the third year she is unable to come home for a long annual visit unless travel rules change and its getting to her. So grateful technology allows us to stay in contact so easily at least.

Have a good day everyone whatever your plans are. Kind thoughts to those not faring well at all, coping with worries in your life at present. ?

Good morning Mick and everyone from dark wet Carlisle. I have popped out to Sainsbury's to get a few odds and bobs and refuel the car. Now we are immured with the papers I also bought and it looks as though we have plenty of time to read them. DS2 has been working hard in the garden, lifting turf and constructing a raised bed which he would like to get completed. We have been out and about, visiting the Solway coast and Hadrians Wall. What a grim posting that must have been for a Roman soldier even if they didn't come from Italy but Dacia I believe.

My thoughts are with you GrannySomerset, my sincere condolences to you and your family.

GrannySomerset I have been saddened to read the turmoil you have been going through for the last couple of weeks as your DH slipped further away from you. You know now, at least, he is at peace, a painful blessing x. Sending you my heartfelt condolences ?️ ?

Well the post I did before 7am this morning disappeared and I have only just see that! So Good Afternoon everyone from a very wet and increasingly windy south coast. Nice to be warm and snug indoors on a day like this.

GrannySomerset I am so sorry to read the sad news and hope that you have support at this time of shock and sorrow. We all know that we have to face this at some point and it is always a hard place to be. Your virtual friends on GN will always be here to turn to if you need us. flowers

Good to know Malaga was sparkling to welcome you back Urms and hope you can recharge your batteries away from the wet and chilly weather here.

Marydoll what a nightmare - and a scary one for you on your journey to the hospital. The Dr. you saw sounds a treasure and looked after you so well by the sounds of it. That was a plus at least.

EllenVannin I was relieved to read that Old Tom is still with us - he has become a GN pet if he did but know!

I hope the rest of the day is as good as it can be for us all sunshine
