anyone tried the new online Wordle word game?

I got it in 4 today, best performance so far.

I'm hooked

got it in 3 and it stated empressive. can't wait till tomorrow.......I randomly entered award , rd came up right but wrong place so tried drive.. ve wrong so drink got it.

My son in Canada sent me a link just after Christmas, which I didn't get. I'd forgotten about it until this thread. Just managed it in the 6 moves. Will bookmark the site

Got today’s word in 3 goes (beginner’s luck likely!)

I think I've downloaded the wrong Wordle game on my phone, as all I've got is a grid where you have to link letters to form words .

Another search needed, I think.

I do like a word game too. I play scrabble, but jyst against the computer.

I have been doing this for just over a week. Got today’s in two attempts. Beginners luck,maybe, as I couldn’t get yesterday’s at all. Do they publish the previous days answers anywhere?

It looks like this HurdyGurdy but initially all tiles will be blank and the “keyboard” will be below. You try typing 5 letters and see if any are in the word (the tiles will change colour).
Does what you found resemble this?

Good once you get going but not easy to choose a starting word.
Took me a while to realise you could use the same letter twice.

Thank you TillyTrotter. No, the one I downloaded was nothing like that. I've deleted it now, as it's obviously not the right one, and will use the one you showed.

I think that to do it in 2 would just be down to luck, I can’t see it happening to me tbh

The frustrating this is - just one word a day (and I didn’t even get that?)

I got it in 2 today. Started with daisy. That’s the second time I got it in 2 usually 4 or 5 tries needed since I started doing it last week.
