anyone tried the new online Wordle word game?

5 today, like my school reports, feel "I could do better".

Apparently the New York Time has bought Wordle. For the time being it will remain free to play but the NYT is not making comment on whether it will stay free in the future or not.

A puzzle app I use has just introduced a puzzle just like Wordle. Seems it’s catching on everywhere.

The New York Times has bought Wordle from Josh Wardle for ‘a seven figure sum’.
It won’t be free for very long it seems!

6. Just a guessing game today. Had 3 letters together in correct place first go.

Despite getting confused with what green and yellow mean, and repeatedly putting things in the same wrong place. ?

It's so odd how my brain struggles to think of any words at all when looking at those squares.

4 for me. At least I’m a better Wordler than I am a Nerdler, though that’s not saying much (only one success so far on Nerdle, from three attempts)

I failed today after two days of 3 and 5. Must have been beginners luck ?

Started playing yesterday after reading this tread, I love it.
First game got it in six, but amazed myself today - got it in two, wordle is not as time consuming as sudoku and crosswords although I still do them.

I just Google WORDLE uk Patsy.

Patsy I can do Wordle on my iPad. Perhaps try lemsips link again. That’s where I got it from.

How weird Patsy70. I just hit the link provided by lemsip on my iPad and I get the grid.

My first time getting it in 2. The first and last letters showed up in green so that helped a lot.
FannyC I have often put the same wrong letter in the same wrong place (I play the unlimited version too. Wish I hadn’t discovered it as it’s really addictive).

For some reason when I try to do Wordle on my iPad, the screen shows this, and I can’t get the Wordle grid - tried everything, turning off etc. So I’m using my iphone instead! Has anyone else experienced this? ?
