I play Absurdle, the same as Wordle but you can waste hours as there is no limit to the amount of games played.

Actually, there is Wordle Unlimited. I think it's easier than the daily Wordle so not so much of a challenge.

Thanks for those starters folks. Interesting. I always use the same word as it uses three vowels and two well used letters which really helps me with elimination quickly. Quickly? Six goes today. Ignore me!

I think I've downloaded the wrong Wordle game on my phone, as all I've got is a grid where you have to link letters to form words .

Another search needed, I think.

I missed it by one letter on the last go today☹️. Mind you it was pretty early in the morning and I only had one eye open!

So did I, chose the wrong one.

I have seen it done on Lingo, and I’ve only watched it a couple of times.

4 for me again today. I’ve managed a 3 on three occasions, but 4’s my usual score. I want to know what acclaim you get if you’re lucky enough to guess it first time.

Agree with Nadateturbe it does sound a bit like Lingo, my sort of game though, will have a look.

Kim19 my starter word today was glove. I use a different one every day.

So far it’s taken me 4 goes every day. Good to get the little grey cells going

I too was rubbish today. Just made it in six. Retrograde step indeed. Even the remote commentary box came up with 'one's. Me too! Would be very interested to know what people used as starter words.

Just had a go on Wordle Unlimited and after days of not being able to better my score of 4 on Wordle, I got it in 2. I feel ridiculously pleased with myself!

Three for me. Enjoying the challenge. The brain has got lazy.
