All good pals and
jolly good company...
Welcome! Buffet is ready and the bubbly is chilled. Come on in and enjoy each other's companionship.
Wishing you all the best for Sunday, Soop.
Dearest you lovely lot, yesterday went as well as could be expected. The journey was not too bad and the weather remained the right side of helpful.
I had every test under the sun. It was a fulsome two hour visit. The surgery will take place at 12:30 on Sunday. All good vibes will be most welcome.
Friends and neighbours will be house-sitting and creature feeding on our behalf. I have been warned that I may wake up in HDU but will be allocated my own personal nurse. I feel sad for Mr Soop. It will be a difficult time for him. However, I shall do my utmost to recover with a smile. I am determined to return home as soon as I'm able.
I shall show Mr Soop how he can locate you lot. From time to time, he will update you whenever he has the opportunity.
It seems highly likely that a new kitchen will need opening in my absence. I feel sure that you will arrange matters accordingly.
One last brief message from me to you wonderful peoples. THANK you for absolutely everything we've shared thus far. I look forward to skipping gracefully tottering through the kitchen door to give you the biggest, warmest group hug in the whole, wide world.
Adieu.

Lost my post?
Eldest grandson due to go skiing tomorrow all fingers and toes crossed,he is so excited. They are going by coach so it’s a 24hour journey.
We have had a nice walk round Bushy Park first time I’ve done that for ages.Thank you steroids.?
Have a good Thursday everyone.
Well done BladeAnnie Enjoy your break you deserve it.
Hope all went well for Soop and they are now enjoying a couple of restful days.My thoughts are with you both.
Eldest GS due to
Just popping in to say I hope all went well for the soops yesterday and they had safe travels. Also, to wish soop every good wish and blessing for Sunday. I'm sure we all look forward to very positive news on Monday!
Take care, keep safe and keep positive.
Wild and windy here though now dry and lots of sunshine. Congratulations BladeAnnie. How hard you must have worked. Thinking of soop
Pottered about. Bread and soup made for lunch. Tea will be something and a baked potato. Maybe roast vegetables and hummus. House looking relatively dust and clutter free but conscious that there is much more to life than a tidy home.
Working tomorrow . TOYA
Well done BladeAnnie. Tillytrotter rain lashing down here this morning but blue skies just now. I've pottered happily this morning and I'm a laying on the couch for an hour. Then I'll potter some more. I hope Soop is ok after a long journey yesterday in what was probably awful weather.
You have worked your socks off BladeAnnie and so deserve to be reinstated as a Nurse. Three weeks off is a splendid treat - throw in as many treats as you can.
Fondest wishes from our house to yours ?
We have just heard hailstones hitting the window - surprising as the BBC nor the Met Office forecast it for us! Bbrrrr…… keep warm everyone.
That’s really good news BA well done in keeping on the register - enjoy your well earned rest now!
Good afternoon dear kitcheners - I've just spent a few minutes catching up on everyone's busy-ness and what I've been missing. Fingers crossed all went well for soop ??. My appearance in the kitchen has been a bit erratic of late ☹. My dear friend Tilly has supported so well from afar as I managed to meet a very tight deadline to revalidate and remain on the NMC register #stillanurse ?. But it's been bl***y hard work!! Anyway all done now and I'm on annual leave for almost 3 weeks - yippee ?. And just booked Mr BA and a couple of nights away because I think we deserve it ?. Off to feed DD1s kitty now as they are away for the week and then meeting a friend for coffee (& cake I expect!) ☕?. Hope everyone has an enjoyable day - sending gentle virtual hugs to all in need of a little comfort today ??
I hope soop ‘s pre-op assessment went well yesterday.
Such a long day for her and Mrsoop.
Your own bed would have been a welcome sight last night and I hope you both slept like babies.
A quiet day for you both today is what the doctor ordered.X.
I too hope all went very well today for Mr&Mrssoop. We’ve been out to dinner, it was lush, very reasonable and a very pleasant change.
Voluntary phones tomorrow.
Sleep well all zzz. X
Good evening, lovely Kitchen people!
We managed to get into the loft today, bit of a struggle, things to come down ( suitcase for weekend away) and things to go up
( Christmas decorations which had been hiding in GCs bedroom since Epiphany).
The gas engineer is coming tomorrow for annual boiler service etc, so last chance to clear the spare room as he needs access to all radiators.
Thinking of the Soops, hoping they're cuddled up cosy at home now. Exciting but stressful times for them.???
Take care, NNGB. X
Good Evening kitcheners.
Repotted three blueberry plants today. Heavy going! I put off cleaning the wall under our staircase. That will keep for a rainy day.
I loved my memory chats with my mum Urms. They always meant getting the photo box out. ?
Hope you are safely back home soop and MrSoop, after the assessments. I also hope you had the opportunity to ask lots of questions you may have had to everyone concerned.
Take care all.
Yes, it is lovely to reminisce with family Urms, we had such a lovely time with my cousins and big brother a couple of weeks ago.
Hoping soop and her DH are safely back home now
You must both be very tired.
Hoping that the soops are safely home again now.
A bit late to the party. I have had a lot of other bother with wifi connection on our trip away at the hen do.
I pray that the weather down to Glasgow, was not as difficult as our trip back. Horrendous conditions. There is a yellow weather warning.
Safe journey home, Soop.
Wishing you well for tomorrow soop. Hugs for you both. Mr C was far more anxious about my procedure last year than I was. I think in many ways it’s harder for those who love us.
Thinking of you today soop with everything crossed for a green light for the op. You know you are many people's thoughts and prayers. Mr soop - look after yourself too ready for nursing duties when your darling comes home!
Thinking of the Soop, hoping and praying that all goes well for them today. ???
Best wishes to soop today. I hope the weather is not too much of a bother on the journey. Sleety and grey here in the Scottish Borders. Nipped to Tesco and bought some daffodils/hyacinths to brighten up the place.
Leek and potato soup on for anyone. Scones will be made later.
Will attack the bathroom soon. Woman's Hour on now.
