Thanks Baggs. Onwards and upwards now for soop. I’m sorry she has to go through so much pain but I’m sure it will all have been worth it in the end.

So pleased to hear that soop has the op behind her now and although recovery will be trying she will hopefully be on the way to much better life.

Good to hear about your grandson maddyone. My sil's father has tested positive and doesn't keep well. So far he's not too bad and he hasn't been near the family as far as I know.

Quick update on little grandson, he’s absolutely fine now but still isolating.
Poor SiL couldn’t go to Devon because of Covid in the house. His father is now in a cardiac unit. He needs a pacemaker. I hope he’ll get one fitted now rather than sending him h to wait.

It is wonderful to read soop ‘s words , what a pity about the phone call, I expect there is all manner of machinery beeping in ICU.
Hope soop manages a bit of physio even though she understandably has a very sore gut.

Latest from soop herself: "special love to all our kindly Kitcheners. Lovely staff. Awful griping in gut. 12" bowel removed. May leave ICU and return to my room tomorrow. Enormous group hug. Physio now. Awful busy and noisy here. Wish we could party."

soop had called before sending this but, because of her noisy environment, couldn't hear my responses. So she decided to send a text. I told her you are all sending love and strengthening vibes.

MrS on his way home to Kintyre today so may be able to update us further.
