Good morning everyone from a bright but chilly Algarve. Today I will force myself to try to set the outside temperature of the thermometer. We had to get a new one in December but didn’t stick to the same make and the instructions on the new one leave much to be desired.
Apart from that we have the physio today and then a trip to the dentist later.
In theory the dentist trip will only be to replace a lost filling but I’m always worried that he’ll find something else as well.

Good Morning all from dry Harrogate
Happy birthday and welcome Llamas99
Today we are taking the family silver to be valued at the auction house, and see if its worth hanging on to or flogging. Have downloaded Wordle but I don't seem to have one word per day - it's several, my best score is 7 so far.Typically cute, Urms. When my DGD was about 2 she was very quiet and busy. My DD found she had put nappies on each of her teddies and dolls - used a whole packet.
I'm sorry about your eye problem Boat it must be worrying.
Have the best day you can folks

Good morning all, I have been awake since 5.30 as I needed to go the dr surgery for8 to make a much needed appointment I have tried 3 times by phone but no luck, so today armed with a hot water bottle to keep out the cold I arrived at the surgery at 7.45 and managed to make a face to face with my chosen dr so I am happy. I loved reading how Urms was going to spend her, that should be me but unfortunately my winter haunt is shut down with no one allowed in so I will just have to wait.

Merlotgran lovely photo my fox didn't stay long enough for photo.

EllanVannin Mon 24-Jan-22 10:23:19

Loved the pic of the fox. What a handsome chap. The one we have around here has wakened me a couple of times with his yapping. Probably miffed because there are no rich pickings.

Good Morning from an overcast Cambs.,

Merlot, that urban fox is very healthy looking.
As you may know, I have lived in the East Anglian countryside for all of my almost 76 years, we see occasional foxes & know they are around, but they often look a bit on the "manky" side!

Happy Birthday Llamas, winedid I see another 1946 er? wink

Late to the party this morning but at least I’ll manage a post, the last few mornings have been quite mixed up due to me religiously following this NHS sleep training app. It seems I now can’t do more than one thing at a time!

Good wishes to your daughter Gingster, she is in my thoughts today.

Lovely wee photo Urms, they are wonderful at that age aren’t they? And of the handsome languid fox!

Happy birthday to Llamas, I enjoy thinking about the extended group we seem to be, all with such different backgrounds and lives.

Post school childminding day now, so I better get myself ready for the drive, thank goodness for our good weather at the moment. There was an amazing picture of the sky in Inverness this morning Brook, I hope you were lucky enough to see it.

Have a good rest of the day everyone ???

Ahh yes I did see a gorgeous sky here this morning stilllearning but didn’t take a picture - the colours were beautiful, thanks for reminding me
Take care when driving later ?

Good afternoon Mick, Annie and all. Very belatedly.
By the time I'd had my breakfast, showered and washed my hair, it was coffee time.
Then a wash to put on and yesterdays's to put away.
I had started to have a sort out in the garage, and see if DS2 wanted anything.
Thought it would be a good idea to get DH to sort through his several drawers of "electrical string". Oh my, what a haul after a couple of hours. He has kept a few that are according to him, "rarer than hen's teeth", but 3 drawers are now down to 1.
Neither of us fancied lunch, so I had a cup of tea, an apple and some cashew nuts. DH had tea and some Bombay Mix.
Sending best wishes to Ginster's daughter and all those going through tough treatment.
Enjoy the rest of your day one and all.
