I've lost Wordle. Usually, I just click on it and it's there, but it's gone.

Similar with me BlueSapphire with a few words I regularly start with. I do tend to have words with two vowels though. There's one word I use more than the others and today, after a bit of skill and a lot of luck I got it in 2 from this word. It's becoming my lucky word?.

I’ve only recently discovered this word game and I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s an awful lot of luck involved in solving it!
My previous attempts over the last few days took four, five or once six attempts but today’s I did in two as I struck lucky with my first guess which had the last two letters in the correct space and one correct but in the wrong place.
That led me to guess the second word which was correct.
Pure fluke!

3 today ? I like choosing different starting words too.

Got it in 3 today! Have a couple of words I tend to start with which have three vowels and a coup!e of common consonants.

I'm stumped...done four lines and have no idea...go back to it later ?

I nearly ran out of tries! Got it on the 6th.

5 for me today. I found that a tricky one. I was stumped after 3 lines and had to take a break and go back to it.

I think that choosing a random word is much more fun, and adds a frisson of risk

It’s good to work in different ways.

I avoid the suggested words.

3 today. I start with a different word each day - usually with at least two vowels.

3 today, yesterday was 6.

I never overthink the first word, just the first 5-letter word I can think of. The first few times I played tried words with as many vowels, no repetitions, etc but found it a waste of time!

I read roate was a good word to start with. I havent even heard that word before and had to look up the meaning.

Got today’s (Sunday) in three, and earned an “impressive”. I was lucky with the letters I’d already chosen. I don’t have a special word to begin, just a pool of words that I use.

DH left his Wordle for a couple of hours today when he was struggling after line 3, and when he went back to it the grid was blank for him to start again. He then got in in 2 knowing what some of the letters were. Teething problems maybe?

3 tries today, glad the NYT doesn’t seem to have changed it too much. I post my pics because I like the way it looks, and it’s interesting to see see the similarities between posters.
