I can't do today's one
I have 2 lines left, but it's making me fed up.

Don’t be fed up MissAdventure as inspiration might come when you least expect it. That’s what I told myself when I stopped at line 4 at bedtime. Having said that I continued on at breakfast time and made a b****up of the remaining lines and failed. I ate breakfast wearing a pointy hat.

After reading the FAX, I did that too FannyCornforth. ?

4 today, despite a blank first line, so I’m pleased enough with my “magnificent”.

I do like to see others’ attempts, especially after I’ve solved it. Not to see if it will help the next day (which is impossible) but to see what first attempts are like.

First attempt today , I got 3 orange squares which frustrated me.

I followed a link for ‘the official Wordle site’ which took me the The NYT site, and my stats miraculously appeared.

There’s lots of info on stats changes on settings (FAX). Questions.

I'm with BlueBelle - I like knowing how many goes it took other people but have no interest in seeing how they did it!

Bluebelle the puzzle page wants you to share so that more people become interested. That's how the concept came to be sold for loadsamoney. The pattern is just a bit of fun.

I have tried to work backwards from the answer to guess what others have guessed but I'm stumped on Maggie's starting word.......

It can help as I can see if players continue to put in letters they know are right, or if they have tried a different set of letters to find say, consonants.
Often it’s consonants that are tricky to pin down as pairs of them will make correct words, but not the correct word.
That’s where luck plays a part.
Although many players strive to identify vowels first.
It’s just different strategies - and that interests me.
I know I’m a bit of an odd-bod ?
