Sorry about the title, me brain`s not at it`s best at this time of day!

Thank you for your kind messages. The kitchen vibes and the heartfelt prayers of the 10 of us in church this morning ( a good congregation for us!)
have worked I think! Our son, Elijah’s grandpa, is very relieved. He was worried it was some thing very serious but it is a kind of tachycardia which he could well grow out of. He will join DH on the betablockers. He should be home in a few days. Such a relief.

Glad to hear you sounding chirpy soop! Mr S definitely is a keeper and will need lots of treats.
Love to everyone xx

Thank you for your lovely message soop and such positive news. There’s so much for you to look forward to now and in the future. Mr Soop is indeed marvellous and deserves to be spoiled ?
Hoping our poorly kitcheners dusty and maddy are feeling much better soon
Special hugs nannytopsy hoping your GGS is home soon ?

So wonderful to hear from you Soop, the surgery may have been costly but the benefits to you and MrSoop in terms of quality of life will be priceless.

Glad to hear that soop is feeling a bit more comfortable and hopefully on the road to recovery again. Thankyou Baggs for keeping us all updated, and my admiration for your craftsmanship is immense.
NannyTopsy it sounds as if your little GGS is in very good hands and prayers are already helping him.
Sorry to hear that your feeling rotten again Maddyone. Kidney infections and uti s are one of the worst things to cope with.
It seems like I read this a long time ago but I’ve been catching up with the kitchen throughout the day so a late Happy Birthday to JaxJacky and Congratulations on your wedding anniversaries to both you and Cornergran. March is an excellent month for both as we have our 55th Wedding Anniversary in 5 days time then DH fits in his birthday about a week before mine towards the end of the month. Some years we have more energy to celebrate than others.

Lastly Dogs , I’m glad that things have settled for you with the phone call from the Coroner’s office. A few years ago we had a lot of dealings with one. The Coroner was unfailingly kind and helpful and we were left thankful that the results were not what we had feared. Sorry to be so ambiguous but that’s the way it has to be.

I’ve spent the day in bed with increasingly speedy trips to the bathroom, don’t know if it’s a passing virus or the result of the combination of meds I’ve been put on.

Grandmabatty and Jax Healing vibes from a sunny Kintyre. In fact, sunshine smiles to every one of you special peoples, especially those of you with worries and health issues to deal with.

Good news is...the district nurse smile when she inspected the stoma early this afternoon. As did we. The ulcerated are surrounding the stoma is shrinking. Thanks, in part, due to special dressings and a different style of bag. I did not wince when she bathed the area. Glory be!!! I have had the need for just two painkillers since waking up. Result! Only six weeks of the eight week convalescence to go. Each day, I feel more confident and thankful that we decided to have this surgery. We could not have afforded it without all the financial support we have received. Amazing. The power of kindness transcends all other.

Mr Soop shops, cooks, washes the dishes, cleans the lavvy, vacs and dusts together with attending to the laundry. He has also cut back a huge amount of dead foliage in the garden this afternoon. He's napping right this minute.

We are looking ahead to better times spent walking and doing stuff that has been hold for yonks. My intention is to give him a right royal spoiling of one kind or another. Do you approve? wink

Catching up with you, albeit briefly, has been a treat. Enjoy your evening. smile moon

Lovely to hear from you Soop. A gentle hug to you.

soop Sun 06-Mar-22 17:28:13

Dear Nannytopsy, the first post that I read on coming into our kitchen, has made me want to hug you really gently. I can well imagine how fretful you must be feeling about your wee great grandson. Your medical-in-the-know grandson will be in a better position to offer you reassurance when a diagnosis has been established. My very best wishes are winging their way to you and your family. flowers

Dogsmakemesmile Us lot will be here to listen and share whenever you need comforting. sunshine

maddyone Kidney infections are a major buggeration. Keep drinking plenty of fluids, continue as your GP orders suggests and take all the rest that your body craves. flowers

Marydoll Hello. We'll be visiting Ross Hall again for post op discussion. All is very much improved.

As always...(((hugs))) and thank you to our Baggs.

Many thanks for all the good wishes for me, unfortunately I’m still feeling quite unwell with this kidney infection. Hope the antibiotics do their work soon.

Dogsmakemesmile Sun 06-Mar-22 11:40:45

Hello everyone,
I must say firstly that I have not read many posts over the last few days so apologise if this is rather self centred and focused on me! It isn't meant to be. On Friday I had a phone call from the coroner's office regarding my father's death a few months ago. They have finished their investigations and there is no need to proceed further. I am very grateful for all they did and their kindness. I am grateful again for everyone's kindness and apologise if I was at times oblique. It was not appropriate to post details
I am rather spent now. I am grateful for the stunning blue sky and all I do have and must focus on that.
My best wishes and virtual flowers and chocolates to all. x

gillgran Sun 06-Mar-22 10:46:14

Nannytopsy Sun 06-Mar-22 00:25:12

Glad to hear of soop improvements!
It’s been pretty miserable weather here today and both my football team and rugby team lost!
Please say a little prayer for GGS who is 10 days old and back in hospital. His grandpa ( our son) is a neonatal doctor so he probably knows what may be wrong but awaiting test results.

benjamina Sat 05-Mar-22 23:13:38
