Virtual hugs from soop to You Lot. The buggerations have been dealt with but she is feeling weary, not surprisingly. Keep up the good vibes ?

Popping in early with flowers for the kitchen.
They are “Cheerfulness” and the fragrance is sweet and lovely.
I hope everyone starts the week with hope that it can be better than last - especially soop , Aldom , dustyangel , Blossoming , maddyone and kitty ‘s Bertie.
Cinema for me today. The new Irish film “Belfast” ,
and lunch after with my sister.

I hope you are feeling better soop and that Bertie isn’t in much pain.
We have had a busy day in the garden but have still only just come to bed. I have done Monday’s Wordle already so now I can go to sleep!

Thank you Baggs and Mr Soop for the up.
Sorry that Soop has had a bit of a set back but I'm sure it will get sorted.
Praying that Soop will feel more comfortable soon and that you both are at peace and have a goodnights sleep

Blossoming Sun 27-Feb-22 19:34:18

Just checking in, it’s only one week since our dear Soop underwent major surgery. Recovery will take time, much rest is needed to enable healing and regaining strength. Thank you for the update MrSoop, warmest wishes to you both.

The pansies are still flowering in my garden, despite the recent storms. I feel there’s a lesson in that somewhere.

Aldom Sun 27-Feb-22 18:50:52

My thanks to Baggs and to Mr. Soop for messages. Wishing Soop a restful night and a better day tomorrow.
I've felt really sad and low since the death of my friend, but had a wonderful afternoon out at Kingston Bagpuize House, Oxfordshire. A wonderful display of snowdrops, helibores and early daffodils.
Our afternoon was rounded off with tea /coffee and cake in the lovely tea room.
Sleep well everyone.

Sending love and healing vibes to soop while the inflammation is brought under control. ?

cornergran Sun 27-Feb-22 18:36:55

Thank you baggs and mr soop. Definitely a buggeration for our soop. Two friends with similar operations had similar problems initially, all well in the end so I’m hopeful this will pass quickly. Sleep well Mr and Mrs soop , you both deserve a restful night.

Thanks for keeping us all posted Mr Soop.

I'm sure you are keeping her safe, keeping her informed, keeping her cheerful and as comfortable as possible.

I'm sure she'll never think we have forgotten her.

Get well soon Soop

brook2704 Sun 27-Feb-22 17:31:24

Lovely for you to update us Mr Soop and here’s hoping your dear wife is feeling much more comfortable soon

Jaxjacky Sun 27-Feb-22 17:15:06

Thank you Bagga and Mrsoop fingers crossed it’s soon sorted out.

soop Sun 27-Feb-22 16:54:06

I've finally found you all, one day I shall get the hang of this. Never mind ..... my Darling One has asked me to say good night, as she is feeling rather weary and sore...not at me, you understand, but the delicate intrusion she has experienced in the name of future comfort and well being. Its all in a good cause and will eventually pass and become history. So, good night and love from Soop and Mr Soop until tomorrow.

Hello all, popped with some home baking, savoury scones and gluten-free shortbread.
Disappointed at soop’ssetback. Hopefully she will see a specialist stoma nurse who will have lots of samples and suggestions.
Oh dear, that is a lot of s sounds.
Loving vibes to soop.
I’m going to miss Call the Midwife tonight. What else can I watch.
Take care all. panache ?

Baggs Sun 27-Feb-22 15:02:27

The word "buggerations" was used, kitty.

Your message, suedonim, while not exactly comforting does raise my hopes that soop's stoma buggerations will cease before too long.

SueDonim Sun 27-Feb-22 14:43:44

Poor Soop. flowers. A friend’s 11yo had to have a stoma when she was only 11yo (ulcerative colitis) and it was tricky to begin with, learning how to manage it and deal with the care it needed. It was two steps forward one step back kind of thing but they got there in the end. I think as Gransnetters our job is to keep Soop cheerful and hopeful for the future. ❤️

GrannyGravy13 Sun 27-Feb-22 14:35:33

Hopefully the District Nurse can sort our soop out.

kittylester Sun 27-Feb-22 14:08:59

Thank you for the update baggs.

That is, to coin a phrase, a buggeration! Please send our love and healing vibes to soop.
