Celebrations here! in the Soop ‘s honour. ? ?
Thank you Baggs for the best news I have heard today. Please let soop know we all suffer flatulence to one degree or another. Gransnet even has a thread active on it!!
So glad Sweetiepie was present for soop ‘s homecoming too.
I hope our favourite couple spend a nice companionable evening together. ♥️ ♥️

What wonderful news about Soop home and reunited with Mr Soop. There’s no place like home. Thank you for the updates.

Thank you Baggs for the good news that soop is back home with her DH, as she continues her recovery.
Do pass on our warm wishes to the soops. flowers

Thank you Grandmafrench for your lovely words, I have always read your posts & thought, " that's just what I wanted to say"! wink

You brought us good tidings, Baggs! ❤️ How wonderful that Soop will be sleeping in her very own bed tonight. Bliss. ? ?

Cold but bright day today. Neither the wind nor rain forecast materialised, hurrah! We’ve had some visitors and are now looking forward to some cosy tv this evening. I think I’ll catch up on Good Karma Hospital.

TOYA! X

Baggs thank you so much. The icing on the cake was Sweetiepie popping in for a meal or two after soop arrived home.

There is nothing like one's own home to rest and recuperate. Please take it easy- sorry to hear about the nausea, that is something you could well do without.

Callistemon21 Mon 21-Feb-22 18:10:33

I hope you feel better once the antibiotics do start to work, maddyone.

Trisha57 Mon 21-Feb-22 18:03:45

Thank you for the update Baggs. I realised as I read through yesterday's and today's posts that I was partially holding my breath, and let out a HUGE sigh of relief that Soop was finally home. My OH gave me a quizzical look - he must have wondered what on earth I was reading!

I am sending her huge best wishes through the ether for a gentle recovery. Mr Soop must be beside himself with joy that she is home. Such good news!

maddyone Mon 21-Feb-22 17:54:40

Thank you so much for good wishes for wellness everyone. I think I need them as I’ve been diagnosed with a kidney infection this morning. No wonder I wasn’t getting any better. I had get up and actually go to see my GP as she insisted, she didn’t want to prescribe over the phone for a possible kidney infection. It took a bit of an effort to crawl out of my bed and actually put clothes on but DH drove me there as I don’t think I was fit to drive. Now I’m back in my bed and I slept all afternoon.

Absolutely fabulous news about soop. I bet Mr soop is very happy she’s home. She now needs to take things easy and let Mr soop spoil her, which I’m sure he will. She’s a lady who is very generous of spirit and although I live on the south coast and she in Scotland, I do know this from a personal perspective.

Our grandson has been testing negative now for a few days and was therefore able to attend his best friend’s birthday party on Saturday. I’m so glad he was able to have that one treat during his half term. I hope your grandson soon tests negative brooke and is back to his usual self. Also the same wish to anyone else suffering Covid or anything else. Get well soon.

Blossoming Mon 21-Feb-22 17:44:34

Forgot to say, thanks to Baggs for all the updates.

Grandmafrench Mon 21-Feb-22 17:41:13

And there it is at last ....... the Best of Baggs' Bulletins! (Many thanks, Baggs!) She's kept us going with news and now Soop's home. How wonderful.

Two Soops and Sweetie Pie together again and nothing to do except recover, recharge, recuperate and rest. ( With a little rejoice that you've done it!!!! )

Today's the first day of the rest of your life, Soop. How you must have longed for this day. But fortune favours the brave and you couldn't have been braver. And if warm wishes will get you strong and healthy and happy in your new life, then you'll succeed, because none of us could have wished any harder for you.

Take care now, please promise not to do too much so that we can all relax. Wishing you both better health and so much well-deserved happiness in the weeks to come.

Hugs from French France xx

Good evening dear Kitcheners, just popped in to see if there’s any update, only to see the best news possible! Sending virtual hugs to Soop and MrSoop, hoping progress is swift from now on flowers

Grannmarie Mon 21-Feb-22 17:27:16

Dustyangel, I'm sorry you are in pain, I hope you get some relief soon.??

dragonfly46 Mon 21-Feb-22 17:26:10

Great news Baggs thank you.

Grannmarie Mon 21-Feb-22 17:24:08

Thanks for that great news, Baggs, so glad to hear that the Soops are reunited at home. Today was a better day weatherwise for travelling on that tricky road. I hope the wind dies down both outdoors and indoors!? Enjoy your cocktails/drams.

I'm just catching up on everyone's news, Grandmabatty, what a brilliant cake! Your DD has a good pair of hands on her, I'm sure the wee boy just loved it?.

Sorry to hear that YiaYia and Maddyone are not well, hope things improve soon.
What a shame for your wee grandson, Brook, being not well with Covid during school holidays. Hope he bounces back soon.

Not long home from a park walk with my sister, it was cold but very bright and sunny, lovely blue skies. I'm now making a big pot of tomato soup, I'll leave some in the kitchen to warm us up.smile

Thinking of all with worries, pain or sorrow. ???

Grandmajean Mon 21-Feb-22 17:24:04

So pleased that Soop is safely home. Nausea not good. Hope it clears soon. If she is on antibiotics then that could be the cause. All my good wishes.

Callistemon21 Mon 21-Feb-22 17:22:18

Good news, thank you Baggs

And soop - as my Mum used to say "A little of what you fancy does you good!"

muse Mon 21-Feb-22 17:19:38

I shall raise a glass too tonight with that news Baggs. I'll have to compare notes with soop. During the storms, I was competing with the noisy gusts outside ? ?. A little calmer outside today and much calmer inside me today!

kittylester Mon 21-Feb-22 17:05:44

Thanks for the update baggs. You are a real friend!! Please give my love to TheSoops. I look forward to hear about the flatulence!!

lavendermine Mon 21-Feb-22 17:04:51

Thank you for the update Baggs.

So pleased to hear they are both home. How lovely to sleep in your own bed tonight Soop.

Take care to you both.

Jaxjacky Mon 21-Feb-22 16:59:49

Well Baggs if that doesn’t justify a glass to raise tonight, nothing does. Such a journey for them both, thank you for this fantastic news ?.

shysal Mon 21-Feb-22 16:59:18
