If your up before 06:00am on Monday morning the News reader always reminds of Elanor Bron from said above film.
Does any one else think so?

I think its something like Samatha sampson/simpson?

This might be of interest if you live near this location.

The Beatles' rooftop concert was originally to be shown in cinemas as part of Peter Jackson's 'Get Back' movie. I was so excited. Then heard he had too much footage and it would be shown on TV on Disney+ as a three part series. I was gutted! Was looking forward to seeing it on the big screen with cinema sound. Well I managed to get an Amazon Firestick which had Disney+ and my daughter added me as a user on her account. And I saw it, hooray! Not as good as the cinema but better than nothing.

I have to say, the rooftop concert was AMAZING. It was filmed in real time with several cameras, on the roof, on other roofs, in the street and even in the Apple reception area (perfect for capturing the Police waiting downstairs to get on the roof ha ha). It is more than just a concert, it's an experience. Try and watch if you can. Make sure you have headphones if possible for the best sound.

Don't forget, the rooftop concert was the very last time they ever played together. They were nervous because they hadn't performed for some years, having given up live performances in favour of the studio. But when they started playing you could see this was the mature Beatles, not the pop group they were at the beginning.

The only thing that let it down was that they didn't have a lot of new songs at the time. They performed the same songs twice, the idea being to get the best take. This is not really a problem though, because there was plenty of footage talking to people down in the street and following the Police, so it never became boring.

George's son - Dhani - looks very much like his dad at a similar age i.e. early 20's.

I was a bit young for the Beatles but I remember watching them on Thank your Lucky Stars and going to see Hard Days Night and Help with my gran. I was about 8.

The Concert for George from 2002 was shown on Sky Arts recently and that is rather special because both Paul and Ringo performed together, plus Dani who looked like George. It was almost the Beatles reformed. Jeff Lynne (5th Beatle) and Eric Clapton were also on stage, plus loads of other musicians. Quite an event.

Chestnut Concert for George was very moving. Especially at the end when Joe Brown sang 'I'll see you in my Dreams' and petals cascaded from the ceiling sad

Concert for George had a warm and loving atmosphere and was a very special concert. And so many great musicians all together on the stage. I think they really enjoyed the experience of playing together for George.

Paul will be performing at the Glastonbury music festival in the summer of 2022. Tickets are sold out,not sure if you can get on a stand-by list for any tickets that might become available.

Well I won't be attending, infoman. I think he lost his voice years ago. Can't understand why people want to watch these oldies performing when you can see them in their prime on TV.

Failing eye sight and not being able to see him,
as well as not being to able to hear him does not bode well.

53 years ago today, Linda said yes to Pauls proposal of marriage.

People want to watch them because they are considered to be icons whether we agree with that or not. If people want to see them and they are happy to perform, why not? Paul will be amazing at Glastonbury. Maybe not his voice but the atmosphere and the nostalgia.
