The last two lines of Shelley's poem Ode to the West Wind,
The trumpet of a prophecy! O Wind,
If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

Whitewavemark2 Mon 21-Feb-22 13:15:18

Here is mine?

Whitewavemark2, thank you for your picture of your little dog. We had a Cairn just like that.

Whitewavemark2 Mon 21-Feb-22 13:31:05

He is squashing some plants!! But he’s out of the wind enjoying the sun

Mamardoit Mon 21-Feb-22 13:58:02

I've never posted photos before so not sure if it will work. It should be the mint, tarragon and the wild garlic. If it doesn't work your spring flowers and the little dog are lovely.

Mamardoit Mon 21-Feb-22 14:00:12

Well that went well!

kitty

It shows the difference in the temperatures I suppose, as my daphne has finished flowering.

kittylester Mon 21-Feb-22 18:05:29

Wow, whitewave. We have 2. That one is fairly newly planted in the front garden - facing northish but against the house wall.

And, we have one in the back garden - south facing and older - that it quite leggy but hardly in bud.

Trisha57 Mon 21-Feb-22 18:07:44

Whitewavemark2, mine has started flowering over the last week or so. I'm in Hertfordshire.

Behind my house.

I'm in Scotland and my garden is still, mainly dormant (lots of sprouting daffs but no flowers). This is a picture of one of many gorgeous dahlias that I grew from seed last year. Fingers crossed I can do it again this year.

Petal1 Tue 22-Feb-22 12:09:11

Oops...sorry that was from a tuber. This is from seed.

MaggsMcG Tue 22-Feb-22 12:16:55

The top of what used to be a bin cupboard. There is also some hyacinths popping up.
