Best, Best Savoury Snacks! ?

For me it’s maize based stuff as opposed to potato based.

Snaps, Quavers, Wotsits and the like… although I am partial to Hula Hoops…

And as mentioned on the Chocolate thread:
Scampi Fries and Cheesy Moments - available behind the bar of your local in the 90’s (do they still do them?)

So, what is your savoury snack of choice?

Thank you smile

Seabrook crisps are wonderful. You hardly ever get a naff, burnt little shard in there, like the rubbish you get in Walkers.
And they are just the right balance of crispy and greasy. Mmm

If Walkers are Gary Lineker,
then Seabrooks are Lionel Messi

Seabrook crisps , plain only.

I’m with you there. Our Sainsburys stopped doing them but I found some in The Pound Shop, only 5 packets in the bag though. Very close are Aldi ready salted Light Ridged crisps.

The shop near me sells cathedral city baked crisp things.
They aren't kept in the crisp aisle; they're near the crackers.
5 little bags for £1 and they're deliciously strong.

Peanuts. I can never decide if I prefer salted or dry roasted. Bacon flavoured crisps. I never buy crisps so only eat them in someone else’s house.

Chopsticks and dip sticks and hummous with rice cakes,
You can keep chocolate and sweeties and nice cakes,
Pringles and cheeselets, and cheese made like strings....
These are a few of my favourite things!

Very clever MissAdventure I've got an earworm now. grin grin
I like Walker's Baked crisps
but I rarely buy them because I would eat them if they were in the cupboard. grin

Twiglets. Very moreish. I can polish off a Christmas tube of them pretty quickly!

I don’t snack, savoury or sweet. And I’m still chubby! angry

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 10:53:32

Cashew nuts.

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 10:52:51

I cant seem to get on board with olives.
Must try them again I think.

Casdon Wed 23-Feb-22 10:51:37

Nocellara olives, I absolutely love them. Second favourite is salted peanuts, but I keep a check on myself or I would eat far too many.

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 10:47:33

I like that, too.

Pantglas2 Wed 23-Feb-22 10:46:50

Bombay mix for me!

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 10:39:01

Oh yes.
I love a crisp sandwich!

Blossoming Wed 23-Feb-22 10:38:12

Pistachios.

Do many folk upgrade their crisp snack to meal status by stuffing it between 2 slices of buttered bread? Don’t knock it till you’ve tried it ?

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 09:54:02

My favourite flavour.
Good old cheese and onion.
Then ready salted.
Followed by chicken.
Prawn cocktail are only for desperate times.

Germanshepherdsmum Wed 23-Feb-22 09:51:59

Walkers cheese and onion crisps, unless there’s a cold sausage lurking in the fridge (which I would share with my doggy but thankfully she doesn’t like crisps!).

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 09:50:20

grin

Nannylovesshopping Wed 23-Feb-22 09:47:27

Missadventure they certainly are, they come in a family pack, so have to get stuck in or they’d go stale, can never find one of those clicks closer things, can’t bear waste, so what’s a girl to do??

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 09:16:32

I've had those.
They are really cheesy arent they?
Lovely and tangy.

Grannynannywanny Wed 23-Feb-22 09:16:00

MissAdventure I’m sure wetsuits have been sold at some stage in Lidl middle aisle!

Nannylovesshopping Wed 23-Feb-22 09:11:05

Jacobs mini cheddars sticks, think they are new, crunchy cheesy little sticks, oh my goodness, food of the devil??

MissAdventure Wed 23-Feb-22 09:10:04

I can't eat salt and vinegar flavoured things these days.
Too strong!
I will though, if I 'have' to.

Helen657 Wed 23-Feb-22 09:06:59

Pringles - either salt & vinegar or sour cream
And I’m now looking forward to trying them with hummus as suggested - yummy
