Good morning from Durham. It’s a bit dull and breezy here. A day to myself today - could do a bit of housework and admin, but should visit my friend who had the mini stroke. She’s struggling to get her head around it.
Tonight DD2’s dogs come here as she’s at work tomorrow. It’s a toss up whether I collect them or she brings them here.
Best wishes to GM and her DH - one thing after another, as well as Marydoll and all others with fears and worries.
Have a good day,

Good morning from cloudy Colchester. The weather is of little consequence as I have caught C19 from DH. A positive lft for us both yesterday.
He is feeling much better. I have a razor blade throat and a headache. A couple of years ago I'd dismiss it as a cold.
A boring week of pottering and snoozing ahead.
Love to all ?x

Hope you both get through it quickly Pittcity. Best wishes.

Good morning from a weak sun and chilly Oxfordshire, I’ve overslept, which is unusual.
Had to cancel the hairdresser yesterday as MrOops has tested
+ve , not surprising after the GCs got Covid after being with us 10 days ago, he says it’s like heavy flu, very achy, sneezy and a sore throat, head ache.
Anyway, so far I’m -ve , fingers crossed it stays that way.
So a grocery delivery and that’s it. Still too cold for me to do any gardening. Good washing and drying weather though.
Haven’t had the chance yet to read through, so I’ll get a coffee and have a read.
Hope everyone has a good day.

I thought I'd got away with it too Oops, but no.?

Morning all from a bright and blue-skied Oxfordshire. I am off to the place where I volunteer this morning to sign up for the next season. It has been closed for the last few years for refurbishment so it will be good to be back. I was in London yesterday at the National Gallery, looking at the Blue Boy, which is a beautiful painting. I now have admin to catch up on before OH and I go to a meeting of our Local History Society this evening. Whatever though, it looks a beautiful day.

Good morning Mick and all from a sunny northwest coast.
I’m overtired today as have been gadding about too much for my obviously delicate constitution ?and have decided not to go to the usual weekly lunchtime recital by bus followed by nursing home visit, but just do the visit as that’s more important. Tired myself out yesterday by singing at the music club, then trying out a route for a pick up topped up by stupidly coming home and practising new songs half the night.
Going on a trip to the Lakes tomorrow so will prepare for that too.
Thoughts to grandMattie, a welcome back to Blighty for Olddudders and thoughts to anyone with worries.

pittcity oh dear, hope you aren’t feeling too poorly.

Good Morning from the Scottish Borders where there is a brisk March wind.
I have been moving heavy compost to the place where I, with help, will be creating a new border. Exciting.

I was at the Scottish National Gallery yesterday enjoying some of my favourites Ladyleftfieldlover though Canova's The three graces are at their other home, the V&A in London, so were missed.

I also watched my DGC playing their instruments at the Edinburgh Competition Music festival What a treat that was and DGS won a gold medal.. A most cultured day.

Back to gardening and worrying about my lack of a kitchen.
I am sorry Marydoll that you are suffering again. Take care of yourself and rest, rest, rest.
Harrigran and grandMattie and all with worries. Thinking of you all. flowers

Good morning from a cloudy W Kent, great shame as we were hoping to go to Great Comp garden for a wander and a cake, well it will keep for a better morning. Frustration yesterday as Hermes driver didn't come to collect a parcel, we were in, they say on line we weren't, but the modern technology on our phones shows no one knocked all day! Oh dear.
Very best wishes to all those who are dealing with life's difficult problems.

Good morning from Dunblane greybut dry though expecting rain soon. Lovely drive to Loch Leven Larder yesterday had lunch followed by a walk around part of the loch. Lovely day but a biting cold wind, fairly blew the cobwebs away. It is about an hour drive away from us but with the price of petrol rising so much maybe not be going a frequent destination! Passed a couple of garages where petrol was £1.669 a litre!

Good morning Mick and everybody. Light cloud in my corner of Lancashire this morning, currently 7°C.

Glad your DH has arrived safe and sound Ashcombe.

Glad your SiL is on the mend Harrigran.

Miss Marydoll you must rest today! I know it’s easy to overdo things when you’re being swept along on a high, but there is always a price to pay.

I guess the NHS are starting to catch up, I now have 4 telephone appointments booked between now and September! They are all from ‘General Surgery’ and all say ‘nurse led team’ so I guess it’s related to the colectomy. I’ve already been discharged regarding the parathyroid surgery. As it will be 5 years in October since the bowel cancer surgery I’m hoping I will be discharged once that date has passed.

I &didn’t sleep well, my back is troubling me. Consequently not much planned for today, a little sewing and usual physio exercise.

Wishing you all the best possible day. May all those with worries find some comfort and all who are under the weather find some relief. ?

Good morning Mick and everyone from greyish but bright Carlisle.
Not much on today, I've done a bit of cleaning and started a new book. I'm pacing myself carefully this week as I've had a problem ear making me a bit dizzy and nauseous and aggravating my tinnitus. I've tried to ignore it but it's not easy. I keep hoping it will go away, it usually doesn't last long but this is. I get totally frustrated by enforced inactivity.
Still, it's minor stuff compared with what others are suffering, I'm especially thinking of your DH grandMattie and you Marydoll.
And wishing you all the best possible day with a bit of sunshine please.
