Yes, its a beautiful day here in Yorkshire. We are awaiting visitors from Scotland for a few days, so i am really glad its lovely weather because the lambs are in the field opposite, jumping, skipping and running after each other hahaha.

So despite the fact i haven't personally been outside to lap up the vit D, i am so happy that our visitors can enjoy the scenery even more so.

Teacherann sorry you are not feeling good today. If you have a lot of Moss on your drive soap powder is really good for getting rid of it. Just sprinkle it on dry and leave a few days. Won't get rid of weeds though but also does not damage plants.

Been to the beach with DGS and my bloke. Looked lovely but with the wind chill was bitterly cold. He wanted chips afterwards but the queues were too big for me. Had to make do with an ice cream.

I’ve been to the Royal Albert Hall to see The Classical Spectacular. Fabulous concert with lots of loud singing. Tomorrow we’re off to Plumpton in Sussex for a horse racing weekend. Can’t wait.

Spent some time in the greenhouse, I overwintered some Geraniums but they don’t look very happy, but the Gazinia might make it. I planted some runner beans and peas in seed trays.
It was nice and warm inside the greenhouse, but chilly in the wind in the garden.

I have used soda crystal to get rid of moss previously and it was very effective. However, as there are are a lot of weeds mixed up with the moss, I need to get rid of them first!

It only took me two hours to scrape the top layer of moss away and pull up the weeds so I can now put down the soda crystals to work their magic! The run off from them will not harm my lawn so I prefer it to using chemical based moss killer.

I am paying the penalty now though for exerting myself, my knees are really painful and I cannot sleep but I feel happy that I managed to complete the work ready for the next stage.

Slowly but surely is my method of gardening!
