Good morning all from a sunny Black country.
Mums and toddlers today so early start, then going for lunch with DiL and the other ladies that help run it.
Lovely evening at the theatre I was sat next to 1 proud mum, her son was in the performance and she had travelled from Torquay and was staying till Friday attending all performances.
Enjoy your day everyone, best wishes for those celebrating, safe travels and virtual hugs where needed. May you all find some ?.

Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Northampton. Just taken my alendronic tablet, so having to wait for my mug of tea. Load of washing already in the machine.

Have ordered two new garden chairs, having got rid of my old ones last year as the cushions had split and the.filling was falling out. So the weather had better stay nice!

A morning of pottering, then after lunch an afternoon at the well-being cafe, and will enjoy the walk home afterwards.

Happy anniversary, Chrissielou. Have a lovely day.

Hope you get some help, grandMattie; and Mick, please consult your surgery.

And to everyone, hope Wednesday is kind to all.

Good morning from the Scottish Borders. Cold start but again we are promised a beautiful day.
My df arrived late after a tiring train and bus journey from the north of Scotland. The memorial she was coming for has been postponed due to covid and her DS has tested +ve in his supported housing near here, so we will just have to find other things to amuse ourselves.

The kitchen has made some progress since she was here in November but it isn't finished yet
I think I know how you are feeling gMattie. flowers ((hugs))
and for Chrissielou I cannot imagine how it feels for you.
Happy Anniversary. Spoil yourself ves.

A very good morning from sunny Yorkshire, the sun is shinning through the kitchen window as i am typing this and sipping my morning cup of tea AND ITS WONDERFUL ? ?.

Today I have my youngest granddaughter, always do on a Wednesday. I am going to take her to the park today, I ALWAYS take a flask of tea and tin of various goodies we sit on a park bench and with our cup of tea and chat ( as much as you can with a 4 year old haha)
Usually we make something ( food ) when we're indoors but today the sun is shinning and so we will enjoy.

Enjoy your day everyone ?

Pittcity, I forgot that LFT, are no longer free in England. A very worrying decision, indeed. I wonder how many have unknowingly infected others.
We still have no problem obtaining them here, as hospital admissions are very high. In fact I have a box being delivered today.
Will this never end?

kittylester Wed 23-Mar-22 08:00:16

Good morning all from a cloudy North Leicestershire. There is sun in the forecast though.

I am fairly sure that I have covid but am not wasting one of our few remaining lfts to prove it. I will stay at home until day 5 and then test.

Such a lot of sadness and worry here today so I am sending love and gentle hugs. And thank you for the good wishes for DD1.

Mick please do an lft and talk to the go.

Gingster Wed 23-Mar-22 08:08:22

I got a box of tests at my local chemist last week with no problem.

Good morning everyone from the sunny south. Nothing planned today or any day until my new (to me) car is delivered at the end of the week. I sold my old one a couple of weeks ago as it was far too big and expensive to run for urban sprawl and crawl. I hate being without wheels but the lovely weather has meant lots of gardening so I can’t complain.

Love to all who are in need of a hug. X

Chrissielou Wed 23-Mar-22 08:14:10

Thank you for all the good wishes, so kind. Here is my necklace...

Chrissielou Wed 23-Mar-22 08:15:13

Sorry! Do good you got it twice! grin

Marydoll Wed 23-Mar-22 08:15:14

Good Morning, it’s cold but very sunny , wondering if I need to water my mini cherry trees in raised beds ?
I’m thinking of all our poorly friends xxx

harrigran Wed 23-Mar-22 08:39:53

Good morning from the NE where it is another sunny day.
My sister and BIL are taking me out for lunch today, I will enjoy the change of scenery. I have a parcel being delivered so must remember to leave the porch door unlocked.
Yesterday was not an easy washing day, the machine was not taking the detergent from the drawer, I had to clean everything and run a cycle with cleaning stuff.
I know how you feel grandMattie, I was in your position last year but without the support that you have. Thinking of you and wishing you the strength to carry on.

Oopsadaisy1 Wed 23-Mar-22 08:43:39

Good morning from a bright and sunny Oxfordshire it’s only 5 degrees though so a bit nippy.
Mick you should really phone your GP and take a LFT if you have one. MrOops sat opposite a person having lunch for 2 hours and that was enough for him to catch Covid, no hugs or touching, just eating.
Another LFT today to see if I’m clear of Covid it’s my 11th day, still feeling grotty, but I must be negative soon!
We want to go out for a drive today, MrOops is going stir crazy, so fingers crossed I’m ok to go.
My thoughts and prayers are with those with worries.
Congratulations on those with Anniversaries and Birthdays.
Have a good day everyone and let’s all try and enjoy the sun while it lasts. Which reminds me to go and open up the greenhouse and see if my Beans and Peas are sprouting yet.

Beechnut Wed 23-Mar-22 08:48:24

That’s a lovely necklace Chrissielou. Wishing you both a Happy Anniversary ?

Lins1066 Wed 23-Mar-22 08:56:50

Good morning all, a beautiful one too on the S Welsh coast.

Long awaited scaffolders and the roofer have arrived, they are putting a new roof over the porch today. They are hoping to get the scaffolding for the roof delivered so they can crack on with that. We have been waiting since last September but fortunately there are no problems with the roof, we are future proofing it as we are near the sea and get a battering in rough weather.

Our dgd was fine after her first jabs thankfully.
My blood test was fine despite mislaying my form, I hate losing things. The nurse in the clinic just looked up my file and printed off another, the staff are so good there.
Called in M&S on the way home.
DD has a day off today and has offered to take me out, may go further along the coast.

Take care everyone and Happy Anniversary to Chrissilou ?

Sar53 Wed 23-Mar-22 09:02:10

A very happy Anniversary to Chrissilou, I love the necklace. I have always liked Clarice Cliff and keep hoping to find a random piece in a charity shop !!!!!

They are free up to 01/04/2022 Marydoll as Gingster posted they LFT packs are in our local chemists and Libraries until then.

Good morning Mick and everyone from sunny Carlisle.
Mick--I'm another one on your case....bite the bullet and contact your GP!
A quiet day in for me though I shall be out in the garden later no doubt. I was out yesterday removing 2 cotoneasters the developer had planted in the front and putting them in the back where they can spread to their hearts' content, and not all over the pavement and my neighbours drive.
I had a podiatry appointment put back because my practitioner had covid. Is everyone getting it?! Feeling nervous about my trip to a family gathering in London at the end of the month.

My thoughts are with you grandMattie and all of you suffering with ill health in the family.

Marydoll Wed 23-Mar-22 09:17:33

GrannyGravy, I responded to Pitt's, post, because I erroneously took it from her post, that you cannot obtain LFTs at all in England, without paying for them. I stand corrected.
There must be many, for whom that would be an expense, they could not afford.
