Good morning Mick and all who follow from a dark and damp north Wales- I’m enjoying my second go on the old chamberpot ☕️ as I’m on chauffeuse duty early this morning - taking friend for similar procedure to grandmabatty!

Lovely wedding photo BlueSapphire I’m sure yesterday was bittersweet ?. Still so many with poorly loved ones but lovely to read about Blossoming baby news...? a few steps removed of course?

Have a good day folks - I’ll pop in later and catch up on the doings x

Good morning, Mick and company on another chilly one in la Sarthe. (-3!) The poor tulips are not coping well in these temperatures.

Yesterday was sunny enough and the wind had eased so we managed a walk around the perimeter of Ian's acre of land after which I sat out and took the air but was well wrapped up!

Here are the two remaining cats, Cooper, the ginger tom (I am therefore I eat!) and Lola, the female airhead (wherever I am is not where I want to be!) They will be 17 this July and are considered to be in good health.

I hope the day is kind to all as we start a new week, which is school holidays for some, including my grandchildren in Cheshire but not DD2 who whose school is in Staffs. She is at home, gradually recovering from Covid. ??????

Ashcombe Mon 04-Apr-22 06:19:18

Photos I forgot to post…..sigh! ?

grandMattie Mon 04-Apr-22 06:43:48

Good morning from a grey, gusty E Kent. Not a promising look.
Bad day yesterday, rubbish night. I am exhausted. No post today.
Hope today is gentle with you all. Carpe diem. ????

Damp grey morning here in Oxfordshire. Not feeling too great this morning, but thankfully LFT
is -ve. I was meant to be taking DD1 for chemo later, but that's in doubt now.
My heart goes out to you GM I do hope you can both have a restful day.

Gwenisgreat1 Mon 04-Apr-22 07:18:21

Good morning all from bright Harrogate

Today I go for my gastroscopy, looking forward to it being over and done with. Not much else I can do!
Have the best day possible folks

kittylester Mon 04-Apr-22 07:24:51

Good morning from a very wet North Leicestershire.

I have a singing lesson this morning (stop laughing)

Sending love and good wishes to everyone.

Grandmabatty Mon 04-Apr-22 07:30:46

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 9°! That's a big change from recently. Breezy and cloudy and rain is forecast.
Grandmattie my thoughts are with you. I hope for a better day for you and your husband. Gwenisgreat good luck with your gastroscopy today. Lovely cats indeed Ashcombe. I particularly like the ginger tom.
Yesterday went well. The procedure was done with the minimal amount of waiting. I hope it's the same for your friend Pantsglas. Dd took me and picked me up, then we headed for my house. It is lovely spending time with them. Dgs1 is still obsessed with trains at the moment so my bed was the ideal venue for steam, freight and passenger trains. Then we had to run up and down the hall. Thank goodness next door are very deaf! He is such fun. Dgs2 has another ear infection so no wonder he's been fretful for a couple of days. Lots of smiles and baby chats though.
Today I have paperwork that must be done so I'll get on with that. I'm going to the local retail park to buy little milk bottle vases to fill with spring flowers. Snow again is forecast for later in the week, along with colder temperatures,so I'm holding off a garden centre visit til next week or so. Chicken salad for dinner. Have a good day all.

Good morning from a dull and drizzly Black Country.

Had a good weekend with DGD's, spent Saturday afternoon with them, then took them to the local for dinner, whilst DD and SIL had an afternoon and evening out. I stayed overnight and spent Sunday morning playing Boggle and Trivial Pursuits. Whilst DD worked all morning. A Teachers work is never done!

Monday morning walk with the group today, unless it starts tipping it down!

My DGD (aged 17) passed her driving test Friday (first time). Now learning to drive really starts. I think she is in for a shock when she tries to fill the tank. She is lucky that she has been given their old Corsa, as they are having an Electric car as soon as it can be delivered!

Wishing you all a good day with a special hug for grandMattie flowers

brook2704 Mon 04-Apr-22 07:38:03

Good morning everyone from Inverness where it’s grey with drizzle in the air
Sending ❤️ grandmattie and hoping you have a better day, look after yourself
I’m off to the gym later for an aerobics class, it’ll be good to have a catch up with the ladies from the gym, I probably enjoy the social side as much as the class itself
Lovely cat photos, thanks Ashcombe
Thinking of everyone with worries and struggles, take care all whatever the day brings ?

Grandmadinosaur Mon 04-Apr-22 07:44:57

Good morning all from East Yorkshire it is 8 degrees bright but damp.

No further news on DH. Decided he didn’t need a further scan yesterday just carrying on with the ABs for now. Good news though as from today they are allowing 1 visitor so I will go this afternoon. Thank you for your good wishes and concerns and PMs yesterday. I do appreciate them.
Lovely lunch with the family yesterday GS was I good form as usual!

Thoughts for Grans with worries, illnesss etc too ?
Gwen and GM ?for you today.

GrannyGravy13 Mon 04-Apr-22 07:49:23

Morning Mick and all

Dull, wet and windy here in S E Essex, typical start to the School Easter Holidays.

grandMattie (((hugs)))

Keep safe and well folks ?‍♀️?

Oopsadaisy1 Mon 04-Apr-22 07:49:55

Good morning from a west and breezy Oxfordshire.

Nothing much to do today, dog sitting as per usual, a day later as MissOops is back on crutches, as something appears to be wrong with her new knee, hopefully an x ray this week.

I was going to sort the veg patch out, but that will be for another day.

So many with sick family members, ? and a virtual hug for you all.
Hugs too for those who aren’t too chipper today.
Hope everyone has as good a day as possible.

Oopsadaisy1 Mon 04-Apr-22 07:50:16

Wet and breezy!

ShazzaKanazza Mon 04-Apr-22 07:54:27

Good morning Mick and everyone from a very windy Leeds. I can hear it howling out there.
Oh grandMattie really hope you both have a better day today??
Heading home from Leeds today and picking DGS up from school so hoping there’s no problems with the train back.
The War of the Worlds show was spectacular last night. We had a meal experience included at the arena which was gorgeous. DH was a bit cross when they brought normal bread out on the same plate as my soup. Good job I always check first. They’ll be getting an e mail today but the meal was so tasty.
Hoping today is kind to everyone and those with illness and worries take care ?

Ladyleftfieldlover Mon 04-Apr-22 07:56:17

Morning all from a gloomy and damp West Oxfordshire. I was up early to wave goodbye to son, partner and my granddaughter, they have to be in London by 9 am. We had a lovely weekend with younger son staying too. He went back last night. Today is Monday so Waitrose delivery, laundry and quite a bit of WI admin. We have a committee meeting on Wednesday and the admin has suddenly crept up on me! OH is sending off an engage consult message to his GP as he is convinced he has Parkinson’s.

BlueSapphire Mon 04-Apr-22 07:59:06

Good morning everyone from a wet Northampton. Yoga this morning, and may go for coffee afterwards and a bit of shopping.

Had a lovely day out to Milton Keynes yesterday with DD; a good mooch around the shops and lunch out.

Hope the weather is better for DS and family; they flew off on their holidays on Saturday - four days in New York, followed by a 10 day beach holiday in Mexico. Am I envious??????

Well must get my skates on and be ready for my lift to yoga. Hope today is better for you grandMattie; and wishing all a good Monday.

Pittcity Mon 04-Apr-22 08:00:38

Good morning from rainy Colchester.
Yesterday stayed sunny all morning so I spent time with my DGSs in the park and then home where they demolished the contents of my fridge and goodie cupboard. DD enjoyed her half marathon but could hardly walk when she picked the boys up.
I have an empty so will catch up on the ironing and housework.
Love to all ? x

Gingster Mon 04-Apr-22 08:02:51

Good morning all and it’s grey and drizzly here in Essex. Slighter warmer though!

We popped to DS1’s yesterday afternoon and had a look around his garden, which he works hard on and is very proud of. Isn’t it funny how they change! When they were children they used our garden as a football pitch, cycling course and generally a park area. No interest in flowers or veg growing. ?.

DD has a telephone appointment with consultant at one hospital this morning and another appointment at a different hospital face to face this afternoon, to find out the results of the biopsies she had last week. Hopefully she’ll get some definite date for an op. ??.

Chrissielou I do hope you’re DD is ok with the chemo today. ?. Look after yourself - she needs you. ?.

No school run today - hoorah! An easy but anxious day ahead.

GM I hope you have a better day and try to get a nap in. ?.

Ash those puddycats look in fine fettle - 17 yrs old!
Are you feeling better?

A gentle day for you all. ???

BlueBalou Mon 04-Apr-22 08:06:34

Good morning everyone from soggy Wiltshire.
My heart goes out to those of you who are unwell or caring for poorly ones.
Well, I have full blown Covid and feel like ?, DH is moaning that he supposes he’ll get it next ?
Not a happy household so I’m staying in bed!

Nannagarra Mon 04-Apr-22 08:09:56

Good morning from Sefton.
