That’s sad news Blossoming. I hope GN deal with it very firmly. Is the person still on GN?

Good Morning Wednesday 6th April 2022
(52 Posts)Good Morning Everyone,
Its just light , grey and cloudy here in brackley this morning.
Today small early shop ,and later see my doctor as to recent occurrences which took place.
Otherwise stay in watch TV .
Take Care,
Mick
Good morning, as usual I’ve not caught up with you all yet but I’m very pleased to see that you’re seeing your doctor Mick and also that grandMattie and her husband had a much improved day yesterday. I hired a shower chair/stool for use recently and it was a great help gM. So much so that we’ve considered buying one if we feel the need again. I’d have to do some internet searching first though.
I hope Marydoll is having a break because she feels she wants to rather than that she has to.
Good news last in that the sun has returned and supposedly is going to stay for a few days before it rains again. It really does lift the spirits.
Sorry you got that pm Blossoming it’s awful how people hide behind screens to abuse people. ?
Good morning Mick and everyone. It’s grey and damp in my corner of Lancashire this morning, currently 9°C.
Hope your doctor visit goes well Mick.
Hello Nacky, nice to meet you. There is a birdbox just above our bedroom window so we’re woken by the squeaks of hungry fledglings in the spring ?
Good news about Iris Grandmattie and so glad yesterday was a better day for you and your DH.
Lovely to see you and hear positive news Scentia.
Good luck with the cinema trip GG13, I remember toddler wrangling when my nephews and nieces were small!
Happy birthday to ChrissieLou and MrBeauregard .
I was a bit upset yesterday after receiving a strange pm from a user I don’t know late on Monday. I still haven’t worked out what it was about but they appear to want me off Gransnet. Well, it hasn’t worked, I have reported the pm and blocked the user from contacting me. I’m not going to worry about it, Gransnet will deal with it. Fortunately the majority of Gransnetters are lovely, friendly people.
Thinking of all our grans going through difficult times. I hope everyone has the best day possible.
Happy Birthday Chrissielou ? ? ?
We know how old you are too ?
Enjoy your mini-break in Cornwall and continuing best wishes for your DD.
Thank you all for your best wishes, yes, 64 today...
Hoping (again) to get out into the garden and plant things. Yesterday, it just rained all day. If it rains I will perhaps read my book. Need to go out at some point to post a parcel. Have a good day everyone.
Happy Birthday Chrissielou
Happy Birthday Chrissielou enjoy your time away ??
Happy Birthday MrBeauregard ?
Maria59 thank you for the weather report. I just noticed the bus timetable has changed so we are only allowed to travel once an hour from April 1st!
Happy Birthday Chrissielou Have a lovely day.
Poor GrannySomerset. keep cosy if you can. and Dragonfly
Happy 64th birthday chrissie ?
Hope you can keep warm Grannysomerset
Dragonfly sorry to hear you are feeling so rubbish.
Good morning Mick and everyone from dark rainy Carlisle, the same as miserable yesterday!
No gardening so I put together a coat and shoe rack for my utility room. I find I like putting things together though I haven't tried anything challenging and am limited by there being only me.
This morning I have a little housework and some admin, this afternoon it's into town to visit the podiatrist again re my poorly toe. I get your 'bit by bit' comment kittylester, I keep telling my body it has to last at least another 22 years so too early to start packing up!
Urmston , Matt has a good idea there. A reality show I could watch!
I hope your DH is sorted now grandMattie and that there are no more setbacks.
Have the best possible day everyone and may the sun come out at some point...
Happy birthday Chrissie Lou ?enjoy your day ,glad to hear your daughter coping with chemo .Have a wonderful weekend away.We have shopping this morning then picking up gc from school .Hope weather (blue skies) stays for day .
Does that mean it’s your birthday Chrissielou? If so, many congratulations, ??x
Morning all from a drizzly West Oxfordshire. Dentist at 9.20 am; having roots done at 2.30 pm; WI committee meeting at 6 pm. The agenda runs to 3 pages of A4! ??? to those who need them.
It never rains but it pours! Not only is COVID lingering miserably but the boiler has died and the boiler man can’t come until probably Friday. I can find a way to keep warm in one room but no hot water is depressing in the extreme. What next?
Glad Mick has a doctor appointment at last and that gM has some support for her DH. Meanwhile I am going back to bed as the warmest place. Grrrr!
Good morning Auntyflo and all x
Good morning, I wasn’t going to post as I feel sorry for myself but wanted to say that I am pleased you are seeing the doctor Mick and good to hear positive news from you GrandMattie.
Having thought I was over Covid it seems to have come back with a vengeance, cough, muscle aches and extreme fatigue. Not serious compared to what others are putting up with I know.
Have a good day everyone.
Good morning everyone from a damp Northampton. pottering this morning and have just switched the laptop on to see if it will behave itself and actually function properly. It has been very slow lately and I think it might be because it's not been getting a lot of use as I tend to rely more on my tablet.
An outing to the well-being cafe this afternoon if it's fine and then walk home afterwards via the paper shop so that I can pay my bill. Then update the Sainsbury's order for tomorrow.
Glad to read good news this morning - long may it continue!
Good morning from a cloudy Staffs.
I SO liked OP’s “collapsing bit by bit”! ? that’s DH at the mo. He had a severe UTI a few weeks necessitating a hospital stay for IV antibiotics. He’s home now, still catheterised although he has an appointment for a trial to see if it can be removed next Tuesday-we have to be at the main hospital about 3/4 hour from here for 8.30am-that will be a shock! Then night before he was awoken with sudden new severe pain in foot-our doc son in law suggests gout.
Then last night the telly died!!
Good morning all.
It’s a brighter day today in South Yorkshire, and a little less windy.
I’ve had a busy 10 days or so, decorating the spare bedroom before some work is done in there, so although I’ve read the daily thread, it’s been later in the day so a bit late to post.
? GrandMattie. It sounds as if the doctor is making things more comfortable for your husband regarding his medication, which is a good thing for both of you. Good news about Iris, too.
Mick I’m pleased to read that you are seeing your doctor today, and hope that he/she will be able to adjust your meds for you, too, and get to the bottom of your dizzy turns and nose bleeds.
Scentia you must be relieved that your DH is trying to take things at a more relaxed pace, and I’m sure his trip in Europe with your son will do him a power of good. Let’s hope that the right time for selling the business is not too long in coming ?.
Well, I’d better get on. Once the fitter has finished in the spare room, I’ve got a lot of things to start putting back ?.
Take care all, enjoy your day and kind thoughts and ? to all of you with worries and troubles.
I don't post very often but do read every day.
Grammaretto the sun is shining in the south of the borders so your day may improve.
LauraNorderr thanks for asking about DGS he continues to make progress although the wheelchair is going to be used longer than first thought.
Life is returning to more normal as we don't need to isolate as much as before even managed a cinema trip to see The Duke which was really good.
Hugs to all who need them.
Good morning from a drizzly, dark S Hants, I’ve had, unusually, a rough night, headache, temperature and cough, negative test.
A constructive day gMattie and great news for Iris.
Lots of busy people today, enjoy your Wednesday ??
Good morning from another wet day in the Lakes.
We were out and about all day yesterday and got soaked. I did not feel comfortable as everywhere was so crowded.
A quiet day for me today, I have a good book to read.
Thoughts are with poorly people and carers.
Good morning everyone. It’s grey and breezy in West Suffolk this morning but not raining yet.
I hope you have a successful visit to your GP Mick.
Kitty I hope DD’s pre-op goes well and that you can sort your knee out. You have reminded me to phone for the X-ray results on my hip.
The frosts have caught one or two plants here, particularly the banana and a big canna. We carefully wrapped them up all winter and had only just woken them up. Grrr!
I hope today is kind to everyone.
