I think you are quite right about that MissAdventure, although I have to admit that I hadn't heard about this court case. She seems to me a troubled woman who has been a very good mother to her disabled son.

well I don't mean to annoy anyone...BUT .... I feel sorry for her, admittedly I am not a fan definitely not BUT i feel for her that through the 'buisness' she ventured in years ago, its lead to where she is today.

I think shes an example of 'womanhood' that begins with a teenager topless in a newspaper. I have no idea why we are surprised when that produces damaged people.

A sad woman, but she does cause a lot of grief. I don't follow her trials and tribulations but did happen to see a few weeks ago that she had made insulting and offensive remarks about the wife of her ex husband, Peter Andre. Publicity it may be, lucrative it may be, but it is also painful for those on the receiving end of such a diatribe, and in the long term it must harm Katie Price herself to be so wound up and aggressive towards others.

Well I m not a fan of KP but I don’t think she’s as awful as many of you believe and I don’t agree with the ‘poor children’ statements whenever I ve seen anything about them they seem very loving kind children and very good with Harvey
I think Harvey adores her and she him and she seems good with him, not an easy task at all
Yes she makes ridiculous judgements and I think she is an attention seeker not sure about mentally ill, there is a difference She was ‘pushed’ into the limelight at an early age and it’s all she knows
I don’t think shes a bad person at all she’s been vilified by the press and other media, and she’s soaked it all up in the quest to stay the centre of attention the only way she understands

She a bad example to her children but not necessarily a bad mother I think she has a good heart and has been manipulated and knows no other way to live her life

She won’t be able to change with or without prison she can’t live without attention good or bad makes no difference she has no filter

Now whether she was born with no filter or made though her own upbringing who knows interesting to psychologically study her

Like fading actresses, Katie Price still craves the limelight trying to recapture her youth. More and more plastic surgery which sadly has become the norm for so many who are looked upon as role models to emulate the plastic Barbie doll look. Plastic fakery is a sad fact of life now.

I don’t know much about her but what pieces I do see of her points to a very troubled, unhappy woman whose life has spiralled out of control thinking drugs and alcohol, which is rife in her particular culture, will dull the reality she can’t face.

Until she kicks those habits/addictions, her life will continue to be a car crash. I can only feel sympathy for someone who desperately needs help with what I believe are mental health issues.

Katie Price has mental health issues played out in public.msShe likes the publicity, but it's like a bear in a cage. I feel sorry for her and her children. She's extremely kind and searching for something for life then when she gets it doesn't want it. If you have someone you love with these severe mental issues, it drives you mad, nothing you do makes a scrap of difference and you feel ill, most end up walking away, there seems to be no answer. How she will cope without her mother I don't know, she cares for her so much and is wonderful with her just like she is with Harvey.
Mental illness affects everyone around them. I don't think people with her issues should keep going under the knife, it's just greed on the part of the surgeons. I'm afraid it will all end badly. She spirals more and more. If she went to prison she might just get the help she needs, keep letting her off is making it worse. Celebs and everyone should be treated the same in court.

I agree KP seems to love her children. Children need more than love, they aren’t getting the stability or consistency they need. They’re endlessly photographed and publicised to help KP earn money.
It’s very sad that she’s in such turmoil but she could help her own emotional welfare by focussing on meeting her children’s needs.

people who are mentally ill, and I think, it is very obvious that Katie Price is, cannot be expect to act in sensible ways that solve all their problems and misgiided behaviour, if that was possible they would not have the problems that are the cause of this behaviour.

Many of the things she has been charged with, driving when banned, over the drink driving limit, abuse of people are all ways unfamous people who are mentally ill can and do behave, except they do not hit the headlines.

I cannot see that it helps to send people like her to prison, whether famous or not. More to the point would be to section her so that she can receive treatment and therapy while in hospital with a good support package when she comes out. It is what all people like her, and there are many should receive, famous or not.

Her issues seem to me to be of her own making, the lifestyle she has chosen to lead. Unfortunately they also affect others and one day, if she carries on driving whilst drunk and/or drugged, she will kill someone.

I saw a clip of her engaging in some serious “ heavy petting” with some bloke.
Her young children were in the same room.
That is why I think she is a disgrace to womanhood.
I find it hard to believe she has maintained custody of any of her children.

How disgusting. I’m not sure her children live with her now (I hope not after reading that). I believe the eldest is disabled or something and now lives in a home.

I find it hard to accept that because it’s KP she has mental health issues. This gives her a ‘let off’ for her appalling behaviour. There are people everywhere that behave appallingly and they don’t get this sympathy and lenience.

She has proven over many years to have a vicious tongue and mindset. All ex partners have suffered the most awful public abuse. She has a jealous personality and needs to be the centre of attention. That doesn’t equate to being mentally ill.

There are plenty of other glamour models who haven’t gone on to lead train wreck lives so I don’t accept it’s all down to page 3.

Her current travails stem from her downward spiral after Peter Andre left. I believe he was the love of her life and a decent family man. She has never recovered . I know my views if KP won’t be popular but I’ve never thought she was this fantastic mother. Thankfully her other children have fathers that care but Harvey’s father is a disgrace. That aside, her behaviour is dreadful and she needs a wake up call before she goes too far.

It’s more likely she has personality problems. She could engage in therapy is she wants to change. So far her behaviour is increasingly erratic and self destructive.

Lots of people don't fulfill the criteria,to be sectioned, and lots (in fact most) people get the leniency shown to Katie.
She is no different to any one of many, many people, lurching from one crisis to another.
I have been closely involved with a family of lord knows how many, for years, with all kinds of (largely 'self inflicted' problems)
They have been shown every bit of the leniency, helped, housed, had the police out looking for them, breaking up fights, fetching the belongings and various pets, phoning around to try and get them somewhere to live, training for work, support workers....

I agree with MissAdventure, she leads a life similar to many others but she does it in the public eye. Egged on of course by the popular press who love nothing better than a celebrity they can build up and then heap abuse on.

As a society we need to stop making celebrities out of damaged, attention seeking people. It happened with Kerry Katona as well, and her chaotic lifestyle was gleefully written about by so called 'journalists' who seemed to delight in every unsuitable boyfriend, every chaotic incident firgettingbthat there were children caught up in the mess.

Disturbed, inadequate or mentally ill people are not entertainment.
