Anyone else really fed up seeing how every court case she has, somehow ends up with just a fine or caution. Several times now I’ve seen/heard that she could possibly go to jail, yet still doesn’t. Personally I think a jail time might just sort her out … once and for all.

Her repeated drunk driving puts other innocent peoples lives in danger

This. She has already been banned, will have no insurance and any other motorist would have received a prison sentence by now. She is obviously not going to obey the law, so do we wait for someone to die?

Harvey is 19.
If you knew anything about him, it would be blatantly obvious that he isnt the sort of man to do anything he doesnt want to.
If you knew anything about his mum, you would know that she wouldn't make him.

Joane123 Sat 30-Apr-22 18:59:27

Just seen an article that shows Katie having taken Harvey into a night club, where she was charging £10 for a meet and greet with Harvey. A good mother - no.

I think she is a deeply unhappy insecure woman.
I think she really really needs help for her mental health.
However her repeated drunk driving puts other innocent peoples lives in danger and that, for me, in unforgivable.
If the only way for her to access the help she needs is through the prison system then so be it.
Or will it take the death of that innocent person to make the authorities act?

I feel very, very sorry for her. She seems to have a self destruct button. There was an interview this week on an online news site, can’t remember which one. Her face has now had so many ‘procedures’ it looks like a ghastly travesty of the lovely young woman she once was.

I meant that I echo Vintagejazz's thoughts on stopping making celebrities/entertainment from damaged/mentally ill people .

Well said , Vintagejazz -my thoughts exactly .

I think Katie price is her own person she seems as though won’t listen to anyone! She is very needy, loves the attention of the media after all the limelight has paid dividends! Everything she does sparks major interest! She’s made lots of money via her books, and other ventures! Lost a lot too! Her own worst enemy! I agree she has lots of issues! Seems to escape prison though! If it was anyone else they would have been being bars a long time ago

I don't think comparisons to our dysfunctional Royal family are appropriate in this context.. and Carrie Johnson had an affair with her now husband whilst he was married to his second wife who had cancer. I suppose this highlights none of us are perfect <shrugs>

She is apparently a very good seamstress. I wonder why she doesn't focus on making money from that in the limelight I am sure lots of people would follow her if she did classes and projects and what not

Btw her other children love their brother because he is there brother and they most probably have natural cues as to when he is finding things challenging

Compare KP with William and Catherine who are younger than her... or even Harry and Meghan, or Holly Willoughby or Carrie Johnston ... . she seems like she's a delinquent..

‘Even Harry and Meghan’ - talk about damned by faint praise. Katie Price has led a crazy celeb life in the limelight. People in a position to make Informed, sensible life choices would run a mile from page 3, endless plastic surgery, rackety unstable relationships with unsuitable men. KP like many others has made what most of us see as poor life choices. She did ok as a younger woman but it’s often the case that life catches up with us. As others have said, she’d benefit from some time away from the chaos, to reflect and engage in therapy. It’s unlikely she’ll choose that path.
Prison - no. The prisons are over full. Some kind of community order please

Lemsip I am concerned that you seem to want to start a fight in an empty room. You have posted with capital letters, bold type and several exclamation marks in your responses. What problem do you have with my post? The OP does not refer to any specific court case, if you read that again, but expresses an opinion that Katie Price seems to get off lightly in the courts. I have said (she repeats wearily) that she is an unhappy woman who seems to lash out and cause grief. Is it not true? And why are you so aggressive?

MissAdventure Fri 29-Apr-22 01:04:17

Did they have the same kind of upbringing as Katie Price, by the way?
I would have thought that, all the would-be therapists in here would have known that may have some bearing on how person turns out...

MissAdventure Fri 29-Apr-22 01:00:52

Oooh I know...

lemsip I haven't mentioned a court case - 'don't know anything about it, 'haven't read anything about it. I have read that Katie Price recently insulted the wife of her ex husband and made comments that were certainly not complimentary, and all that I have said is that she must be an unhappy woman, spreading a lot of unhappiness around her. However, you clearly know a lot more about this than I do.

The OP is about the court case!! why she is currently in the news.

I think everyone should care, or at least think as kindly as they can about someone who so obviously is struggling.

It's a sorry old world if not.

Prison isn't the answer as she obviously has many problems.

This chaotic life can't be good for her children.
A period in a rehabilitation unit and counselling might help her resolve her issues.

BlueBelle Thu 28-Apr-22 22:28:49

GSM you ‘believe her eldest son is disabled’ well if you only think that, you know nothing about her and yet knowing nothing about her you can judge her
Yes her eldest son is autistic he also has Willy Prada syndrome
She’s brought him up to be a very loving and decent chap within his own limits His Dad a famous footballer never owned him Once he reached adulthood he wanted his freedom and she found a place where he was happy to go to lead a ‘limited independant life’ outside his own home
She’s obviously a very loving and patient mum surely you all can give her some praise
The other children seem kind and patient with him although he is a very big chap and can get violent so she can’t have done that bad a job

Why do sone people get so worked up about Katie Price?

I have found out who she is, (having worked out that Katy Perry is the other one) but can honestly say she does not feature on my radar.
Should I care?

If she's not on your radar and you don't care feel free not to.
No need for grandstanding. I don't think we're that interested in your stance.

I agree with you MussA

So many folks castigating someone they only know through the media.

Empathy at an all time low on GN
