Good Morning Everyone,
Its dry but looks a grey sky but nice and cool at the moment here in brackley this morning .
Today, the plan is to go to Bicester for an hour on the bus but I will also have a bottle of water in my pocket , but hoping there will be a cooling breeze as well.
Take Care,
Mick

Gymstagram. Puts everything into perspective, what an absolute tragedy for the family. So very sorry.

Good morning Mick and everyone from warm sunny Carlisle. We escaped the bad weather here, it merely clouded over late afternoon and evening.
Yesterday I erected my runner bean wigwam and planted the beans, an unplanned purchase from the garden centre. This after I'd had to clean up the prepared patch after one of the local cats had left a large deposit. I'd caught it at it and exploded in fury out of my french windows. It's a shameless creature though and didn't go far.
Today I plan more planting out, lots to do.
I've just had a Tesco delivery, thankfully the driver didn't deliver the message as in Matt's cartoon today, Urmston!

Such sad news from Gymstagran...how dreadful to lose a daughter, a young wife and mother whose children still need her. My condolences to you and your family.

Good morning from Dunblane where is's cloudy/sunny/cold/warm! Typically Scottish weather and at least it's not raining so I'll do a bit in the garden today. Today is our son's 40th Birthday! Hope everyone has an enjoyable day.

Thank goodness for a sunny morning again after a horrible day yesterday. But the rain was welcome.
I'm worried about my car. I think the clutch is going.
Have a lovely day everyone, and to those with problems I do hope things work out for you.

Good morning Mick and all. It’s cloudy in my corner of Lancashire, currently 13°C.

Taking water with you is a good idea Mick especially in this hot weather. Enjoy your trip out.

It will be good for you to have some company Grandmattie and hopefully a comfort to your DH.

I had to laugh at the trolley episode Marydoll, I don’t suppose it was funny at the time!

I have promised to set up Mr. B’s new printer today. Mr. B does the heavy lifting, chauffeuring and manual work in this partnership and all things tech fall to me. I just hope my brain is up to the task today!

Such sad news from another gran, condolences to Gymstagran.
Hope all the grans and families who are ailing feel better soon. Have the best day you can all and hope you find a ?or ?? along the way.

Good morning from Dunblane. Dry here with sunny spells hope it continues as just put washing out. May plant up some bedding plants but need to buy more so might wait till I have bought them. GD 2 after school we are going to bake a cake as it is her parents’s 15th wedding anniversary today. Doesn’t time fly!, Yogitree you are in my neck of the woods! My daughter was 40 in August what a coincidence.

Gymstagran sending virtual hugs there are no words.

Good morning Mick and all from a bright northwest coast.
A quiet day,(apart from the buzz of the tree surgeons next door) preparing for a busy coming week and a bit more singing to get it going.
Watched Prince of Muck last night about the Laird of Muck, very touching and beautiful photography but too bleak up there for me. My tv is still cutting out on recordings even after the engineer’s visit..
So sorry Gymstagran such a loss and always seems the wrong way round when a young person goes before. Thoughts too to grandMattie ?

Morning all from what appears to be a very overcast morning.
After very hectic after school GCs care yesterday we were left exhausted and soon fell asleep early evening
It was so much easier when they were happy crafting or playing toys now older want us to physically partake in their sport teams cannot un derstand why no one wants me on their team?
GMattie do hope DH chemo doesn't cause him too much discomfort and how lovely for you both to have your DD around.
Mick do be careful and take a steady pace with as suggested plenty fluids.I know not easy these days but maybe a quick check with GP again.
?? to Gymstagran so sorry to hear sad news.
DH surprisingly is out in garden not actually gardening but woodworking and figuring out best way to fit his new solar decking lights. He appears very happy with said task.I have shouted to offer a cup of tea but it has fallen on deaf ears (he refuses to accept he does have a problem).I should be more sympathetic but it is so frustrating to n fro awaiting reply.
I do love him and as promised some 48yrs ago "In sickness and in health." He has certainly kept his side with my issues over the years.
Thoughts to those with illness and worry.

Sincere condolences to Gymstagran - unthinkable and puts everything into perspective.
Love and sympathy to the whole family flowers

GrannySomerset Thu 19-May-22 11:33:48

The man who professionally cleans the ovens, hob and extractor fan is here for his annual visit - along with fresh flowers, my only real extravagance - so I am keeping out of the way. Need to collect prescription and then plan an afternoon reading as I am too tired for anything else after a busy week so far. Am very frustrated to feel so lacklustre but assume that time-the-great-healer will eventually put things right.

Thinking of the gMs at such a difficult time. Hope little H soon feels better. Enjoyed Marydoll’s tale of garden centre mayhem. All good wishes for a reasonable day for all.
