I thought this might of been “kicked” into the long grass but…

hopefully that poor cat will get justice. ?

I agree Callistemon21 Zouma should have been dropped immediately, but David Moyes put football ahead of morality.

Mind you, whatever leads a young man, one who has hit life’s jackpot; to abuse an animal?
And to use it as a method of impressing a woman?
It beggars understand in, doesn’t it.
He should have premier league therapy.
I wonder if Moyes has put that in place?
No. Me neither

I removed a couple of slugs from a plant yesterday and noticed a distinct resemblance. I will quickly add that they were grey, not black.

Dickens Fri 27-May-22 15:41:19

This wasn't an act of someone losing his temper momentarily because an animal has damaged something or caused an upset of some sort.

Bear in mind he actually drop-kicked the cat - like he does with a football. That wasn't enough, so he threw shoes at it - and then hit it round the head.

He's a barbaric thug. His apology means nothing - he only made it because he had to. If he was genuinely sorry, he'd have been remorseful after the first moment he abused the cat.

Oh, do lighten up. And I can trump your number of cats, having had seven at one time.

I've never had a cat.

There, I've said it shock

DH doesn't much like most cats but they will make a beeline (catline?) for him and sit on him, purring.
?

David Moyes needs to answer some questions too.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 27-May-22 15:51:55

Very true Dickens. No remorse, though I expect there will be a plea in mitigation - deprivation childhood, so remorseful he has barely slept …. the usual tosh attempting to minimise the sentence and redeem him in the eyes of the public.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 27-May-22 15:52:41

Yes Callistemon, Moyes sank without trace in my estimation.

MissAdventure Fri 27-May-22 16:01:53

I have read today that Moyes is unhappy with the cat kickers' performances (on the pitch, not the home videos)

TanaMa Fri 27-May-22 16:11:44

I thought this post was about the footballer's appalling behaviour with regards to his cruelty to his cat - however it seems to be more about tearing each other to pieces!!

MissAdventure Fri 27-May-22 16:19:30

Interpretations may vary on that.
I'm very happy for the whole thread to be about his appalling cruelty.

That is what the thread was made for.

You're being silly now - and in my opinion deliberately provocative and trying to bait another member.

Rafichagran was wrong to use the term 'low-life' towards MissA but you're as bad with the above comment and persistent needling.

Were you so vociferous and persistent towards the woman who was filmed abusing a horse - did you compare her to a slug?

GrannyGravy13 Fri 27-May-22 16:33:24

Riverwalk I cannot speak for GSM but my thoughts and indeed my words towards the female who lost her temper and took it out on her horse would not be acceptable on here.

MissAdventure Fri 27-May-22 16:37:01

There is a thread on here about the horse abuser, every bit as heated.
Except nobody bought race into it.

I tried very hard not to get put on the naughty step on that one

MissAdventure Fri 27-May-22 16:52:30

I'm happy to go on the naughty step if I transgress gnhq rules.
Not so happy to have people here telling me what I may or may not do.

Germanshepherdsmum Fri 27-May-22 17:00:20

You speak for me very eloquently GG.
The reference to thugs reminded me of the slugs and I make no apology for calling this miserable specimen what I wish. I'm not needling anyone on here I'm sure. The poster who caused such trouble has departed.

I'm just glad nobody has been around with a recorder when I've threatened to kill my Bengal.
Not that I'm condoning his treatment of the animal - that's just beyond belief - just saying they're not the easiest cats to live with.

GSM will of course, speak for herself. But I'm pretty sure she'd be vociferous towards anyone mistreating an animal - male, female, footballer, whoever, as she cares passionately about animal welfare.

I`m with team Miss A too.
I`m suprised no-one has mentioned cats lives matter.
He is a low life,no-one with any decency would kick an animal.
I`m pretty sure he will get a suspended sentence, sadly.
