So lovely to have this thread. Like all of you I love the Queen and greatly admire her steadfastness throughout her long reign. I do not recall any entrance to St.Paul’s at street level or with a ramp either. But I am not really sure. Son and I were discussing how difficult it would be for the Queen. I think she just cannot climb steps without a railing nor walk along the nave. Do you all think that she could use a wheelchair without lessening her position? Watching the Service and thinking standing for hymns and being part of the process would be too much for the Queen. My heart goes out to her having lost Prince Philip after such a long marriage.
