If money, space or property design was no problem what luxury would you treat yourself to.
I think mine would be a 20 metre swimming pool full of lovely warm water. Oh and a hunky pool man to keep it clean!
What selfish indulgence would you have?

Something I'd appreciate every single day - a Geberit shower toilet (other brands may be available).

A lovely little property on a Greek island. Must have own private pool!

A chef

Marg75 Sat 04-Jun-22 13:22:18

A world cruise!! See the world comfortably in my older age!

Yammy Sat 04-Jun-22 13:26:29

A holiday cottage near both my dd families. I would now but DD will not be persuaded.

A Japanese shower that does everything for you, soap, wash and blowdry.

The whole bod, obv.

Same as others have wished for. First class travel to New Zealand once a year to see my son and grandchildren.

I’d have so many things, housekeeper, PA, chef, private jet, few villas dotted around the world, why settle for less, oh and I’d also rent out top floor of the ritz and live there for few months of year ?

I'd love a large house overlooking water with huge retractable glass doors to let in the light. DD and family would live in the main house and I'd be quite happy in a granny annexe. Bliss!

To have a lovely apartment with a patio garden, a car and chauffeur and first class pass to fly anywhere in the world. Never mind I will go and mow the lawn.

Gwenisgreat1 Sat 04-Jun-22 14:51:18

Ooooh! I would have a cook and housekeeper, also a tall dark and handsome Chauffeur and possibly move to a more generously sized house!

garnet25 Sat 04-Jun-22 14:52:49

A house in southern Italy big enough for the family, with a 25-metre pool and air fairs to visit whenever we want to.

Nancat Sat 04-Jun-22 15:02:06

I love my Garden Flat, so wouldn't move, but would like to get horrid leylandii hedges removed, and cat proof fencing installed so that my cat could have the run of the garden instead of just her catio. Once the important thing is done, I'd buy houses for all my family so that I could stop worrying about them, and maybe have my own flat professionally redecorated. Oh! what a lovely dream.

Tooyoungytobeagrandma Sat 04-Jun-22 15:02:17

A personal chef daily, personal hairdresser 3 times a week and someone to c h ange the bedding everyday for top quality bedlinen and deal with laundering of. Other than that a chauffer would be nice but would prefer the above.

Happysexagenarian Sat 04-Jun-22 15:04:20

A Morris 14/6 pre war car, or a Morris Traveller, fully restored of course so that I wouldn't have to worry about that. I love classic cars. Maybe a chauffeur as I get older.

Also a gardener to help my husband with the garden.
And a garden swing seat for me, they're so comfortable.

pooohbear2811 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:12:50

find a nice island somewhere, nothing too hot, north of Scotland will do, with a helipad and a pilot. With a 3 bed 2 bathroom house, with an annexe for the family when visiting. A swimming pool and a gym t keep me amused and a large workshop for all my creativity.

Whitewavemark2 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:14:19

I would buy an island and bugger off. Fill it with animals flowers and love.

Supergran1946 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:16:29

My luxury would be a heated indoor swimming pool. Also would like a small apartment in New York state to be near family

Redhead56 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:25:42

I have talked about this with my husband. We would make sure our son and daughter and their families were financially sound. I know they would still work it's the way they are.
We would buy and run an animal sanctuary with some chalets or cabins for volunteers to stay.

Daisend1 Sat 04-Jun-22 15:54:06

Money no object my time would be my own to travel
where ever, leaving a housekeeper /gardener etc in charge. Would not need a chauffeur, just pick up the phone and book a taxi,

Hihosilver Sat 04-Jun-22 16:01:37

Me too, I am a nervous swimmer, so would love a pool of my own. It could only be 4ft deep though lol.

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 04-Jun-22 16:04:27

I'd buy a slightly bigger house and get it exactly to my liking inside and out and move in when it is completed, then I'd get my present home altered 'just so' before making my decision as to which one to live in.

Hihosilver Sat 04-Jun-22 16:04:43

I would spend a year traveling to all the tennis grand slams. First class and lovely hotels.

HillyN Sat 04-Jun-22 16:05:56

I would like to buy some land and build custom designed homes for our DDs and their families and a bungalow for ourselves. However I wouldn't want a swimming pool, hot tub, servants etc because it would spoil our holidays. The pleasure of having somewhere to swim or relax would become boring if you could do it all year round.
