Good morning from Newcastle where we docked safely this morning. After breakfast, we shall disembark then go by coach to the railway station for a train back to Devon.

Good morning from a dull E Kent. I hope it doesn’t rain off and on as it did yesterday because I’ve got washing to dry.
The bird paintings are lovely, Ash, and I hope you had a lovely rest at sea.
Quiet day yesterday. The cakes and jams have all gone for the MS ticketed tea party today.
DH slept for most of the day, but was well enough to eat. DS is very good at getting his dad to drink. It’s hard when he’s asleep most of the time and only takes small sips when told to.
Today, DS is taking DGS out to lunch and planning their short holiday in Greece. I’m very envious of everything except the hat; I loathe the heat.
Hope Miss Marydoll feels better today; ditto all our poorly friends. Hope the sun shines on you all.

It’s MrOops birthday today as well, so a family lunch, then MzOops and the Oopsies are heading back home hopefully to beat the bank holiday rush?.
Drama yesterday when MzOops pushed her car door closed, keys on the seat, with the dog inside and all the doors locked themselves, alarm going off all of the time, dog inside frantic and in the sun, by the time the RAC had arrived the side window they had been advised would open easily smashed into tiny pieces, anyway dog out, glass everywhere. So they were very late for a lunch date with their Nanna. Never a dull moment.
Hope everyone manages to have a good day, hope the sun shines for the Birthday boys.

I have an awchy thingy pain. I probably twisted something on Monday.

A bitty and Bobby day today DH has gym first thing, then I will drive him into town for a blood test before we go to his volunteer event for Then we have a friend coming for supper.

We arrived home about 9.30 last night after a very long day in the car.
A lovely month away but back to the real world now.

Dollie was a star yesterday, poor papa was exhausted, as she thinks he is her six year old pal and never stops talking. I wonder where she gets that from. ?

A gentle day for me, I'm very tired and somewhat unsettled after my lengthy chat with the A&E doctor. My problem is I think too much and mull things over, my brain is always in overdrive!

Today DD2 is arriving for the day to borrow our internet ? she works from home but they’ve got an electrician round today to do some work and their’s will be off most of the day so she’s coming here instead. DH enjoyed his birthday yesterday with all the family around although we had to take B to the drs at one point as he has another ear infection.

Today DH has a health MOT like you Mick.I hadn’t realised it was a birthday thing??‍♀️While he is at the drs, DGD and I will go to M and S to get some shopping for mum then we will go over there and see what needs doing.She was quite bossy on the phone yesterday so normality is returning!

Good morning from Majorca where I’m on holiday with DD3, SiL and two lovely grandchildren. Even my 11 year old DGD is taller than me now and my 13 year old grandson is taller than us all! He is such a gentle boy and it’s touching to see this tall ‘young man’ playing happily with his wee sister.

This is the first chance I’ve had to post since we arrived on Sunday, a combination of being an hour ahead and, most uncharacteristically, sleeping like a log until being summoned for breakfast!

It’s just wonderful being with them all and the glorious sunshine adds to my joy. I’ve managed to read later on in the day and have seen your extra woes Marydoll, I hope your spirit lifts today.

A very grey start in Oxfordshire, its obviously been raining again in the night, very heavy showers yesterday too. I am enjoying my week off, looking after GC and taking DD1 for chemo yesterday. Today I'm meeting my sister for coffee at a local garden centre.
Marydoll I hope you begin to recover from your A&E visit and can rest today.

Today I will pick up my prescription then visit mum. It'll be a short visit as I'm going with dd to dgs1's nursery for a family picnic. It's to raise funds for a charity. Then I'll potter about the house no doubt. Roast chicken for dinner. Have a good day all.
