Virtual cruise Lyon to Avignon and Arles

We are moored at the Quai Jean Jaurès in Vienne.

This evening, our dinner is being prepared by a guest chef, a chef from Vienne.

Some of the cruise participants are going together to have a look around Vienne, including the ancient cathedral, where there are stained glass windows.

They've just returned. The delay was because they saw a gift shop and someone asked if the tour could include that, so the tour guide took them all in the gift shop a few at a time and many of them browsed and bought things.

Here we are in Vienne, which has an area a little under nine square miles and a population of around thirty thousand people.

For our shore excursion, we will be met by a transport vehicle, so cruise participants may choose to walk or ride from stop to stop along our route, mixing walking and riding as you choose.

When we get to Vienne, at around 10 am, for those who want to do so, there will be a guided tour of Vienne. This will take around two hours and then we will return to the cruise ship for lunch.

We will be met by a transport vehicle, so cruise participants may choose to walk or ride from stop to stop along our route, mixing walking and riding as you choose.

The cruise ship slowly moves away from the Quai Claude Bernard in Lyon and begins its journey southward towards Vienne.

We will be travelling at around 10 miles per hours, so we should arrive in Vienne at around 10:00 am

Tomorrow morning, Monday, breakfast will be available from 7:00 am am to 9:30 am. This is because we are due to start cruising southward at 8:00 am, so the earlier availability of breakfast is so that those who would like to be on the upper deck for the whole journey can have their breakfast earlier if they so choose.

We will be travelling at around 10 miles per hours, so we should arrive in Vienne at around 10:00 am.

Yes. In real life I can no longer eat it, but I used to love it. Sometimes ratatouille with oven chips, sometimes ratatouille with rice, sometimes ratatouille with gluten-free pasta shells.
