I am not sure whether this is the same as what you refer to as a simulation SD, but we have had virtual Halloween parties, we have the Argy and other “virtual” celebrations so I don’t see what his “arches” thing has to do with the price of bread.
I think we are all intelligent enough to know what is what!

It is just a way of expressing things with precision, like lawyers have words like tort and so on so as to have precise meaning instead of risking ambiguity by using everyday phrases. I have used it twice, once to go from no links to only links to videos, and once to go from no limit on links to videos to a limit of three links to videos each day. That's all, just a simple way of noting things.

I still don’t see the point of the arches SD. One only has to read the posts to understand that the rules have been changed. I have never come across this before.

I'm going to take French leave now. I did say at the beginning, or on the other cruise thread, that I had no time for links. GN for me is a bob in and out activity, sometimes sitting on a bench, and I don't want to start drowning in research. There's already too many posters on GN who show annoyance if you don't read their links, (not you SD), so is au revoir from me.

No there doesn't.
We have fertile imaginations.

A simulation needs to be set up so as to be easy and straightforward at an introductory level and yet also provide facilities and scope to allow for a more complex version to be experienced.

So a maximum of three links to videos each day, yet people can, if they choose, do their own searches, instead of using, or as well as using, the links provided.

A balanced approach so as to provide enjoyment for all participants, some of whom may not be posting.
