Films that everyone likes .... except you!

Mama Mia - thought the singing was atrocious and the whole thing cringe
La la Land - also cringe

I can’t think of any others right now, but those are two I particularly hate and my friends all seem to enjoy and watch repeatedly.

Atonement - I hated the use of CGI when I saw that. It all looked so fake. If they were creating the beaches of Dunkirk in older films they actually used real people. I think crowd scenes are maybe better with CGI now, but the people on that beach looked fake and it distracted from the seriousness of what we were watching.

Another vote for The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and LaLa Land. Just awful rubbish.

Crocodile Dundee 1 & 2, can’t stand him or her.
Fave film of all time is Mrs Doubtfire. It still makes me laugh when she’s in the restaurant and gets drunk!

Any James Bond film.
Any Sci Fi film.
Any Harry Potter film.
Most of Clint Eastwood films.
Probably many more.
However I love most musicals and lots of others.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest, came out feeling physically sick

Someone we knew invited us to an adult pyjama party and it so reminded me of Cuckoo’s nest that we left really early. I couldn’t stand it. We refused to wear the stuff so we haven’t been asked to any of their ‘dos’ since.
