Good morning, Mick, and those who follow from a bright and sunny Torbay.
It’s good that your GP has identified a potential issue, Mick, and I hope you don’t have to wait too long for the results. A peaceful day must have been welcome, grandMattie and I’m so pleased to hear about Iris! ???
My chat with the cardiologist yesterday was helpful. He thinks the risk to my heart from dental work is little greater than from when I brush my teeth! The valve repair operation is likely to be sometime next year, which is no surprise. The best news was that, despite a slight drop in sodium levels, I can remain on spironolactone, a diuretic, pending another blood test. It is suiting me and helped the breathlessness.
Later I was at the theatre which was buzzing with people due to a letting to a local film club. I was privileged to meet a member, a delightful Ukrainian lady, whom I couldn’t resist hugging. She had worked on experimental theatre projects in Ukraine but has a British husband.
The day ended with another rehearsal for’Allo, ‘Allo, run by the assistant director as the main guy has Covid, caught on holiday in France, where he suffered two day delays on onward and homeward bound journeys with EasyJet.
Today I’m off to a singing workshop then home for a telephone consultation with my lovely cardiac nurse. Have the best day you can, everyone! ?????
