New Word I Have Learned Today

I used to read in bed when the children were young as that was the only place I could get peace. Now I read sitting on the couch. I wonder if there's a term for that?

That's me! Sounds like one of those words they used to give us in school, to see who could make the most words from it. Only there isn't an E !

*Fairfraise’ we used to have class contests using the word Constantinople. I don’t think Istanbul would work as well though.

ExDancer I think pronunciation is OK if you break it down and pronounce the ‘cubicular’ bit like funicular. Spelling is another matter, I had to re type it several times.

But my instinct was to pronounce it as

Though I suppose it could be like Library

Does a Kindle count? In bed I’m more usually a kindlecubicularist - largely because I don’t need a light on, so with windows open there’s less likelihood of pesky moths flapping around. Not to mention the dreaded daddy long legs when in season!

We need a convention of librocubiculuarists.
It will be a quiet event, obviously, but I'm up for it, and I seem to have other takers, here.

Antidisestablishmentarianism was a word one of our teachers used to throw into spelling bees!

solivagant: someone who travels or wanders alone.

might that be easier to bring up in polite conversation?
