Ahoy, expert knitters and crocheters! Need a decision on something, please

I just looked at the second photo in the link and yes, it's all knitted.

I'd say definitely knitted.
The extra picture is crochet.

The edging definitely looks knitted. At first I thought the centre could be crocheted but on closer inspection I'm pretty sure it is not.

Its knitted, I have knitted something similar.

This has driven me crazy !
I have to ask my friend ,who is far superior to me at these crafts .
Is it a mixture of both knitting and crochet ?
I'm just wondering if it isn't made in Tunisia - their knitting looks like crochet or it is Turkish ?
Years ago, I had something similar from Malta .

It's rather expensive .

It does look knitted to me - but I also wondered about Tunisian crochet Esmay, This is done on one long crochet hook (as long as a knitting needle) and the end result looks like knitting.

Knitted - you can clearly see stocking stitch in the border and garter stitch in some of the little centres.

I think it’s knitted, though I can’t magnify it clearly.

Okay -
I asked my expert crochet and knitting friends and they all said that the border is definitely knitted and the centre very badly crocheted !
They even laughed at the uneven stitches !
And they are offering their services to Plumo !

Maybe send it to one of the knitting magazines !
