Well it wasn't quite like that!! Some years ago The BBC did The Peoples Desert Island Discs. Each BBC local station invited people to apply to be on it, choosing their favourite record (just one) and to explain why they'd chosen it. I was chosen for our area to tell the reasons why I love Hey Jude.

Well I was Beatle mad. I've seen them a few times back in the day, have a photo of myself with them, as mentioned many times. I've spoken a few times on local radio about my Beatles escapades
Hey Jude epitomised the time for me. An anthem for escaping the horrors of home. Sorry to hijack the thread.

I have to hang on for dear life in Japanese toilets anyway!! I would have waited till a western one became available but it was urgent!

Kitty in Switzerland they have picture notices in the toilets for the Japanese visitors indicating they should sit on the seats to use the toilet and not stand on them and crouch down. As you were using a Japanese toilet did you adopt the local custom? ?
