Do any GNs who don't possess a dishwasher, empty a bowl of not greasy foodstuff onto their potted plants? Know of a friend in sunny Altlanta,GA who used to shower with feet in a bowl or bucket (can't remember which) and then use this water on her plants..just wondering if my washing up water is ok for them?

Hetty58...where in the world RU? Haven't heard of anyone being fined..have just used my shower bought a large tray.. with all the fires raging, think we need to save as much water as we can ?

I have a bucket in the sower to catch the water before it warms up , it stays there as I shower to catch a bit more , I have used it on the plants in the greenhouse every summer
My Gran used to throw the dishwater round the fruit bushes , no rats , but great berries
