Good morning all from a muggy Glasgow, nothing like the extreme temperatures, some of you are being subjected to.
I have no plans at all for today, mostly because I woke up on and off all night with stomach pains and also an insect bite on my foot in the most awkward place, (They always are!). I know nothing can be done until I get the gastroscospy, but I'm fed up with feeling so unwell and having to put my life on hold, yet again.
Yesterday, I felt reasonably well and made two jars of gooseberry jam ( very few gooseberries on the bushes) and about 6lbs of very tasty marmalade (with Triple Sec in it).
It was the first time in three weeks, I have actually felt like doing anything productive, which gave me such a boost.
Very little effort was required, because I did it all in my jam maker and I delegated all the washing up to SIL!
I wish you all the best of days.
Safe journey for the cyclists and all, who are travelling. My friend is cycling through Portugal and Spain, I wonder how he is getting on in the extreme heat there!
GM try and get some rest after church, you will need to be well for the difficult week ahead.
A special mention for all or those family members, who are struggling. ?
