Junk food heaven! (No holier-than-thou replies, thanks)

Some years ago DH was in the Heart Hospital in Marylebone where had had major open heart surgery replacing his aortic valve and repairing an aortic aneurysm.
On my way home from visiting him each evening - bearing cardiac health very much in mind - I would treat myself to a “dirty burger” from Burger King at Euston station ??

Pasta n Sauce, packet from the supermarket at 2-3am. I have an unusual health condition which when it hits uses up lots of energy...weirdly. So my go to guilty secret is a packet of this in the microwave...only my OH knows ;) except all or you now

McChicken sandwich and fries or a Greggs sausage roll, just the thought makes me drool. Haven’t had the former for three years and only had the latter at home courtesy of Iceland occasionally… half a one with a salad.

I’m with Pantglas2. I love KFC but don’t live near to one, so I sneak in if I am away near a branch.

Aberdeen rowies or butteries... They are a bit like croissants but flat and very buttery. They were given to fisherman to keep them going at sea.... I love them hot, dripping with honey and added butter.

A McDonald's chicken legend meal, fries and dippers with Salsa sauce goes down very well for me

Pizza, if that can be considered junk food.

Five Guys burger is to die for. Thankfully I don’t live near one or I would be broke and larger than I am now!

Love a traditional pastie from Gregg's. And occasionally (once a a year?) An extra long sausage roll.

Greggs vegan doughnuts, had them once and crave more, they are delicious! I am not vegan!

Bought individual steak pie made with white, very fatty pastry... a rare treat. Also an occasional white loaf. I mostly eat sourdough, wholegrain everything!

It's hard to confine yourself to just one slice GagaJo and I have little self restraint unless I really steel myself.

KFC - thighs only. Must be about a year since I had it. I always enjoy it immensely and two hours later I feel nauseous.

Mmmmm, lovebeigecardigans, coffee flavoured Swiss roll. I could eat a slice of that now!

A bag of liquorice allsorts, making my mouth water just thinking of them. My DH use to eat them all the time and he would pass over the bag with the ones he didnt like, the little logs, the one's with the bobbles and any that had the tan colour with liquorice and then a white top. Very occasionally i would find the coconut round one in there. Have not bought any for ages.
