Good evening, Soop and lovely Kitchen people!
Many happy returns of the day for tomorrow, Soop, maybe you'll share your birthday with Nannytopsy's new grandchild?
Wishing your DD a speedy labour and a safe delivery, NT. In our day...and that wasn't yesterday... if you were induced, things moved along pretty sharpish, but it's very different now. DDIL2 had a 'sweep' on the Monday, but DGS2 didn't arrive until the Friday, and that was with a C section!
Healing wishes for Blossoming and YiaYia, and anyone who needs them. I'm so glad that you both have lovely menfolk and family to take care of you as you recover.
Enjoy your family time in Cambridge, Brook, you've been busy with your GC this summer. Our older GC are having a ball on holiday, we see wee GS2 regularly for childcare.
Muse, I am amazed at how well you and your DH are doing with your new build, exciting times! I hope he is recovering well.
SueD, you are one busy lady, looking out for your DMum and the new baby! Mind, take care of yourself too!
Jaxjacky⁹, I'm sorry to hear about your hosepipe ban, you take such good care of your garden. I'll pray for overnight rain!?? ?
Ladyleftfieldlover, your lunch sounds absolutely delicious! ? I'm impressed with your decorating choices, very colourful. I have neutrals on the walls, my pops of colour ( a la Kirsty)
come from soft furnishings! Mind you, in our first wee hoose, nearly 50 years ago, we had purple on the walls, it was the thing then!
Shazza, I'm glad you had a lovely time with your DS and wee DGS, I'm off to Google Ted Lasso and see what I'm missing!
Grandmabatty, I'm so glad that you are on the mend. I'm a great believer in the power of the nap, I have been known to enjoy a wee siesta.?
Charleygirl, I hope all goes well with your workmen. ?It'll be worth it when it's all done!
Urms, enjoy having your family visiting in Malaga, special times!
I've enjoyed a gentle Sunday, park walk with sisters, some batch cooking for the week ahead, early evening Mass... our young P.P. has returned, looking peely wally and wabbit ( West of Scotland for pale and worn out) after his 4th bout of Covid. Whilst I was sanitising the church after Mass, ( I'm on the covid clean team, we have a fogger!) he was telling me about the crime dramas he was watching during isolation. I must look out for Baptiste??
Now, early bath, glass of white Rioja, another episode of The First Lady, highly recommended!
Forgive me if I haven't mentioned you by name, I have read all your news and I am TOYA, wishing everyone an early NNGB. ??
