Good morning all from Severnside. Thank you for my birthday greetings yesterday. I had a very nice day.

Happy Birthday wishes to you Urm ??

I’ve no real plans for the long weekend and will just take it as it comes.

Wonderful news about your cat Ash and hope he soon feels more like his old self.

Have a good day all ???

SunshineSally Sat 27-Aug-22 08:03:35

Happy Birthday Urms ????

grandMattie - I’ve never been a fan of M&S and had a horrible experience with Rigby and Pellor so would never go there again. The best place I found (if you can find a store) is Bravissimo. They also offer an online service and (for me) offer pretty bras in the larger sizes!

Happy birthday Urms????

Good morning all from a cloudy, cool North Leicestershire where, it seems, we had rain overnight. That's the way to do it.

Not a lot going on here today. Our next door neighbours have sold their house and, as part of their clearing out, offered us some of their boys outgrown toys so I had better find homes for those.

We love Biarritz too.

A lovely morning, sun shining and the promise of yet another beautiful late summer day. Dog walk this morning and a bit of tidying, DD1 coming to relax in our garden later as the children are off to the seaside for the weekend with their father.
So pleased to hear Cooper is home with you Ashcombe it will be good to get vet to check him after his trauma.

Sar53 Sat 27-Aug-22 08:16:51

Good morning from Essex by the sea. The sun is shining, again.
We are moving the boat today, I love being on the Water in the sun. We take our lunch and have a picnic looking out at the birds, ducks and swans.
Happy Birthday to Urms, enjoy your day.
Ash I'm pleased that Cooper has been found.
Have an enjoyable Saturday everyone and I hope the sun is shining for you xxx

Happy Birthday Urmston???

grandMattie Sat 27-Aug-22 08:24:08

Thank you for your bra advice. Canterbury is very small and I never go to any other towns as I’m not very confident.
My problem is that I have been getting eczema under my boobs in this heat (I know, I know, TMI) and want something that might help. Too sweaty to go liberated…

Good morning all from a sunny Black country.
Yesterday was spent at Dudley zoo with the boys. Youngest stated he was living the dream while bouncing up and down on the bungee ropes.
Glad to see you've found Cooper Ash hope the vet can sort him out.
Happy birthday Urmstongran ???.
Over to out friends in Redditch this evening.
Washing just finished and full English calling so will catch up with everybody's news later.
Enjoy your Saturday whatever your plans and may you all find some ?.

Good morning from sunny Colchester. Another warm, dry day which is unusual for a Bank Holiday weekend. No plans apart from watering the garden.

Happy Birthday Urms winethanks

Love to all ?x

Good morning from south somerset, a beautiful sparkling sunny day.

I need to get myself out and am getting ready for a longer
cycle ride along lanes and by orchards. So happy to be in nature with no chit chat. On my ebike today

Traffic will be sparse on these lanes, main roads will be busy so am staying off them today

ShazzaKanazza Sat 27-Aug-22 08:31:04

Good Morning Mick and everyone from Hull.
? Sago. Safe journey to France. Hope your plants get watered.

Happy birthday to our lovely Urmstongran ??. Matt made me laugh this morning.

Ashcombe so pleased your cat is ok. Fingers crossed he’ll be back to full health soon.

We have DD and GDs coming today which is always lovely as they are so much fun. GD1 will love all the red tomatoes hanging now and will be out eating them like apples. She can help us pull some beetroot and we can cook it for tea for her.
Had a bit of a difficult day with GS yesterday which I’m still kind of trying to get my head around. So worrying. ?
Tonight DS is staying with his new lady who is very nice they are at a bbq. DH and I will chill with a glass of wine and I’ve seen there is a comedy film on Netflix with Kevin Hart who I really like. I need a laugh.

Have a good day everyone and extra thoughts and hugs to those struggling with life’s challenges. ??

Grandmabatty Sat 27-Aug-22 08:36:29

Good morning all from Polmont where it's currently 12° and sunny with partial cloud. Ashcombe that is such good news about your cat! I hope he recovers quickly. Happy birthday to Urms too.
Yesterday I pottered about and did all the housework and changed bedding etc. I ordered a new quilt to go on top of the duvet for winter and I'll pick it up on Monday. Today I'm having both boys for a couple of hours this morning, to let dd get more organised for their holiday. Apart from that, it'll be fairly quiet. Have a good day all

ginny Sat 27-Aug-22 08:36:43

Good morning everyone.
Bit of food shopping to do and then take the dog up to the secure field for a good run.
Rest of the day is undecided but will probably include some sewing and drawing.
Happy birthday Urmstongran
Wishing all a pleasant day.

Good morning, Michael and all GNs from a cool cloudy South Yorkshire. DD has just brought me a cup of coffee. I will go home after breakfast. Yesterday’s boot buying was a complete failure as they didn’t have the ones GS wanted in his size and he wasn’t keen on any of the others (truth is, he didn’t want to be there - getting them fitted properly was too much fuss for him (“why do we need to buy socks? Why are there so many different kinds??” We left when steam started quietly issuing from his ears!). We will try again at a later date, as he doesn’t need them until October. Teenagers! Spare me! I am looking forward to a quiet weekend - may factor in a longer walk than I have been doing recently. I thought about driving into the Peak District but on a Bank Holiday that probably isn’t the best idea.
Happy birthday Urms!??
Have the best day you can folks.

Ali23 Sat 27-Aug-22 08:37:53

Happy birthday Urms!
Love Matt today. If you didn’t laugh you’d cry!

Morning from sunny S Lanarkshire. Back home now and planning a very quiet weekend after my frantic week. Sometimes one realises one’s age!

Marydoll good luck with getting your endoscopy results, I am still waiting after nine weeks, I called the consultant’s secretary last week and was told that biopsy results are currently taking ten weeks to come back.

Happy birthday Urms, lovely that the weather has cooled slightly for you!

Nice for your daughter to have a relaxing time with you today Chrissielou, have a good afternoon.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day ???

Grandmadinosaur Sat 27-Aug-22 08:53:33

Good morning all from sunny East Yorkshire.
Just read a few threads and so relieved for you Ash

Had a wonderful day at Bridlington with GS yesterday. On the way we talked about having fish and chips. He was most concerned about the seagulls getting our chips! I said we will be inside at a cafe so it would be ok. But grandma they might leave the door open. No they won’t J. But what about the windows they might be. ?‍♂️

No special plans today will see how the day develops.

Take care everyone.

Angela73 Sat 27-Aug-22 08:54:20

GrandMattie - one of my daughters had that problem and her midwife at the time recommended using “liquid talc”. You used to be able to get it from Asda. Or you can get it here (I have no connection to this company smile)

Good morning from a bright and fairly sunny Black Country.

Had a BBQ last night, and we stayed out until after 10pm, although it was dark by 9pm. Didn't wake up until 8.30 which is most unusual, so not read all the posts properly.

Lovely sunny u3a walk yesterday along canal, then back along the Staffs railway walk to the cafe and a cuppa.

We have decided on a trip to Bewdley today on the bus. Lunch out and a walk to a campsite where they have a lovely delicatessen.

Happy Birthday Urms. Wishing you all a lovely day

Good morning from sunny W Kent. Gardener first thing, he is painting the back fence for us. He is finding times hard as nobody has a lawn to be mown. A little light food shopping and two GC this evening whilst their parents go to a party. Must remember crisps.
Happy Birthday Urms and Happy Anniversary Meg36 and DH.
Glad Cooper has turned up, we also have a large ginger cat in the family.
Best wishes to all
