I always enjoy the sheep insult from people spouting theories that are well everywhere on the internet. If there was some originality it would be better. If someone was saying the virus was manufactured by introverts so they didnt have to attend work dos it would hold my interest more.

I was thinking of putting the trimmings on sellotape strips which I will then weave together to make a huge flammable blanket

JaneJudge Fri 09-Sept-22 16:12:18

I want to make clear the trimmings would be of my beard, which at the moment is imaginary yeah right

The stark reality is that since double jabbing the public deaths have more than doubled. From the beginning of July to the end of October 2020 there were 5,916 deaths with said Covid. And since the beginning of July to the end of October 2021 there were 12,952 deaths with said Covid. This means that since 95% of the vulnerable were doubled jabbed there has been an extra 7,036 deaths. ??

I wonder after this is all over the government will be announcing the daily figures of people who have died from cancer due to life saving treatment stopped. Will they be a poster saying Look them in the eyes and tell them they were not worthy enough for treatment.

NanKate Thank you for the link. I've just booked mine.

You are a chip shop owner from the Muir of Ord, and I claim my £5.

Zonne Fri 09-Sept-22 16:40:09

That, I hope obviously, was for Usernametaken.

My husband and I both have Covid right now - caught whilst on a cruise. I don’t blame the cruise co.; we could have caught it anywhere. I take it you haven’t had it - it’s not pleasant. ?Most of my family have had Covid this year, not during the lockdowns. Thank God we didn’t catch it before the vaccines. I suppose you think that all diseases just provide governments with an opportunity to cull their populations? ??

Just wondering - did you have childhood vaccinations? I suppose it was a violation of your human rights? ?

henetha Fri 09-Sept-22 17:32:32

You're almost funny, Usernametaken, Almost. What twaddle.

vickya Fri 09-Sept-22 17:32:53

Usernametaken is right but once the story has spread and fear is whipped up people can't accept that the vaccines are harmful. Most of us are not able to take in the statistics, published by the government bodies. We rely on the main media to interpret them and they are telling the Covid story.

Yes sciatica is nerves but if you used the yellow card system to report adverse effects of a vaccination back problems was one of the menus you could go to.

The manufacturers of vaccines have been given legal cover so they cannot be held responsible for any ill effects of the vaccines. This is not usual practice.

Usernametaken Fri 09-Sept-22 17:38:59

TIGGYW. Yes I had all my childhood vaccinations. The covid one imo has been rushed through with not enough testing.

And you caught covid on a cruise, jab working well then.

No, I have never had it. Never wore a mask and didn’t stop from seeing family members

We all have our own opinions, just because I don’t agree with a lot of you doesn’t mean that some of you have to resort to insulting comments. Says a lot more about you than it does about me.

Farzanah Fri 09-Sept-22 17:49:55

Some of us are well able to “take in the statistics” and do not underestimate some of the professional expertise of posters on this site.

Just for the sake of accuracy, although the sciatic nerve originates in the lower spine, sciatic pain is in the buttock and leg. So not a back problem per se.
Just sayin'

It’s been 12 months since we had the booster jab, so I’m not entirely surprised that we’re no longer protected. We had to show proof of a negative test to board the ship.
I think you’re extremely lucky not to have caught this ‘imaginary’ disease. (Just writing this as my head is spinning, my throat is sore and my legs feel like jelly. At least I’m not short of breath…) I’d rather risk having the booster than risk having Covid again, especially as I get older.

Galaxy Fri 09-Sept-22 18:16:39

You called us sheep usernametaken.

Usernametaken Fri 09-Sept-22 18:47:46

Then I apologise Galaxy for calling you sheep. I just feel that a lot of people aren’t questioning the deaths from the vaccine and the terrible side effects some are experiencing.
And as Vickya mentioned if you do become ill or at the worst die there is no compensation from the vaccine manufacturers. Because it’s a trial.

ElaineI Fri 09-Sept-22 19:14:45

We are 66 and got our invitation for flu and covid boosters early October. DM has hers end of September. We got dates, times and place in the letter.

JaneJudge Fri 09-Sept-22 19:38:35

galaxy has grown wings since the vaccine

Lilikemaho Fri 09-Sept-22 19:44:25

What absolute rot! The vaccines have been trialled and are being monitored. I just do not understand why anybody persists in spreading such scare-mongering nonsense.

If you don't want to be vaccinated, that's your business, but what do you hope to gain by trying to put other people off?

So you're an expert on Covid vaccination testing, are you?

Namsnanny Fri 09-Sept-22 20:02:39

Well, I for one enjoy hearing a variety of opinions on every subject.
I hope people wont be put off posting them.

Deedaa Fri 09-Sept-22 20:03:37

Well there has to be one telling us to "Do our research" doesn't there? I continue to rely on my daughter who is a quite well respected biochemist and her friend who is a doctor and spent a year on a Covid ward. Both of them are firmly pro vaccination. The four people I knew personally who sadly died of Covid caught it before the vaccine came out. My family who all caught it after vaccination all had a very mild illness, including one who was extremely vulnerable and would probably have died if he hadn't been vaccinated.

The vaccine wasn't rushed and un tested. If you read Vaxxers you will see that the money that poured in from round the world meant that months weren't wasted while they looked for funding for the next stage. In all research and development it's funding that is the stumbling block.

Had my booster last week, unfortunately they are still waiting for the flu one.
